Cold Stone Creamery — Restaurant in Great Falls

Took my kids to get a Lucky Charm Milkshake they were super excited, so I get there about 8:30 and had a pretty big order, but I ordered the 2 Lucky Charm Milkshakes 1st the lady sets them on the counter and says we’re out of the Marshmallows.... 😳. One of the main reasons the kids wanted them... and didn’t tell me until she had already made them... my niece also wanted a lucky charm ice cream in a bowl with the glitter, marshmallows,and whip cream, all the fun stuff that was supposed to be on there. So I didn’t really have a choice but to order one, so I did, and got a bowl of green ice cream with nothing on it no whip cream no glitter, nothing but a bowl of green ice cream. I went on and continued to get the rest of my order, the lady was extremely rude, my 11-year-old little girl looked up at me and asked why she was being so rude to us? Paid for the ice cream, I asked for a side of glitter to add to the milkshakes and bowl of ice cream, and you would’ve thought I asked for $1 million, then had to go over to Smith’s grocery store and buy a box of Lucky charms so the kids can have marshmallows on their lucky charm milkshakes and ice cream.. Not happy with our trip to Cold Stone...

I’ve never gone out of my way to write a negative review of a place before. However, I just find myself pretty frustrated after my last experience today at this cold stone. Ice cream is up to six dollars for a small which is a bit much but i understand that, I also understand that a small should be one scoop or at least fill the small container. However I visited this cold stone today and ordered two small ice cream‘s. Unfortunately, the person who made mine chose to scoop the melted ice cream at the top of the bucket and use so little it did not even fill the small container and was melted completely liquid before I could even pay for it. My wife’s thankfully was made by a different person and she got a normal size ice cream for hers…how it should be. When questioned politely the person who gave me the small cup defended it and shrugged me off. Just felt like poor customer service and left a bad taste in my mouth. I don’t think I’ll be...

The person who took my order was nice. I placed the order Friday afternoon and was able to pick up the custom ice cream cake for my daughter on Sun. I was a few hours late picking it up, but they were really nice about it. My daughter doesn't like regular oreos (only golden oreos), so she got white chocolate chips added, but throughout the cake, there were black spots of what looked like regular oreo pieces. I was ok with that since the pieces weren't that big, and you couldn't really taste it. My issue was the piece of hair that we found stuck in the middle layer of the ice cream cake. Luckily it was a piece that my husband was eating and not me lol. We were grossed out finding the hair. Maybe we'll give them a try again in the future as things like this can happen from time to time and probably doesn't reflect the hygiene of this store. Unfortunately, right now, we dont plan on going back...
