The restaurant is on the second floor of the old Columbus Hospital, and if you're not looking close for the banner in the window, you'll miss it. I'm SO glad we were persistent though. Between my husband and I we tried most things on the menu this week and every single thing was AMAZING!!! My husband is middle eastern and I'm from the Deep South so we both lament the lack of culinary diversity in Montana, but Saibeen's is definitely an exception. No... THE exception. Everything we touched was so delicious with a great balance of flavors. The only thing I didn't enjoy was the Thai red Chile sauce, but that was on me... I know better. I'm a weenie. I love Cajun food, but that is as far as my spice meter goes.
My husband was SO stinkin' tickled at how good it was, though, that I had to try it anyway. I had regrets, but even then, panting and sweating and chugging fluids, I paid for a tub of it to take home (FOR HIM 😂🥵) because the sauce was THAT good, THAT authentic to the cuisine. If you're looking for truly authentic flavors, Saibeen NAILS it. The samosas, the date chutney, the entrees, the naan.... everything was exactly right. We cannot rave enough. We look forward to the Helena deliveries!
And if the food isn't a good enough reason, Saibeen and her staff give top-notch service. Saibeen was so kind and patient in meeting our dietary restrictions, and her staff are funny, efficient, sweet, and incredibly helpful and informative. The restaurant is clean, has a cohesive look, and feels spacious. The building is handicap accessible. There are booths and tables of varying sizes too.
It's not what you expect, but it's SO. MUCH. BETTER. Thank you, Saibeen & Co for all your help and patience. You all are total rockstars. We WILL be back again.... and again and again...
Read moreWe stopped by here for lunch with a friend who recommended it. The service was quick but that doesn’t even matter because the food was GREAT!! I grew up in bigger cities and food from different places was a staple and it's hard to find in Great Falls. Especially quality Indian or African food. Saibeen’s Kitchen is a complete gem. Plenty of parking, easy to get to- and did I mention the food?! It has a menu of the week that offers a few different selections and you will build your meal from the different offerings. Each part was great (though I’ll admit we didn’t try dessert.) Also- great spicy sauce which was actually very spicy. Which is a real rarity in my experience in Montana. And no Buffalo Wild Wings hot sauce does not count at all. Also- coconut water for the water? Love it! Definitely worth stopping in whether you miss good Indian food living in central Montana or you want to try something new. I’m so grateful to have a new “Go To” restaurant in Great Falls because I’ll admit, nine times out of ten it was a better idea for me to just drive the hour and a half home instead of eating in GF when running errands in big town. Thanks for a great meal! Can’t wait to go back and...
Read moreI don't usually do reviews buy yall.... this may be my favorite restaurant. Ive never tried Indian food before and always wanted to and ...IT WAS AMAZING !!!!!!!!!!!!!! 1st time there, and my experience was a dream! The decore is so welcoming and kyute too! Saibeen and the cashier really took their time explaining the dishes to my husband and I! I decided to try the spiciest sauce on the menu... WHICH I can usually take spicy things but it seems I have met my match! Lol 🥴😮💨 I was almost sweating yall! But Saibeen and the cashier (I'm so sorry I don't know his name!) Did all they could to help me! Let's just say the coconut yogurt is a MUST if you get a spicy sauce 😅
The food portion was great. I ate so much, still had some left over but I also don't feel like I over ate either! Oh, and the water is infused with some flavorful goodness 😳 😍.
I can't wait to go back! Man, CAN I HAVE SECONDS...
