On this last date it was nearly a total flop, my order 2 Oreo frappe, one fish sandwich meal with a sweet tea for my wife , and a cheese burger for me . Pull around 18.00 and some change had issues with the app so just made as a drive thru order no drive thru code for rewards, coupons and rewards deals discarded and I was cool with that, pull around and handed 2 frappe whipped cream and drink did not reach the lip of cup at its peak , three cheeseburgers and fries upsidedown not even in their box, I said this is not my order mabey I got the wrong one person that handed bag didn't even acknowledge me shut window and walked away, moment later management came said two Oreo frappe right this is your order that is what you ordered and closed window, I taped the glass was ignored or mabey not heard so I tapped the frame with a coin and window bust open and said that was your order sir said I didn't get my tea she said you did not order a tea sir we upcharge your meal for the frappe I said why that wasn't what i ordered it was your order the management lady said I said i ordered a fish sandwich meal for it is the only thing my vegetarian, (No meat seafood and shellfish ok) can eat from mcD and my sweet tea she took misorder bag from me like i was a vagabond who touched her purse and ignored me as I said I'll buy the two extra cheese burgers if gonna throw away I just need the fish sandwich and tea she said you didn't pay for the tea so I did and she walked away with the bag and said pull to the last window where 5 minutes later 4 customers behind me finished and drive around me while I watch the frappes melting in the cup holder another emoloyee brings me my new bag of food and walks away no tea still 21$ into this im frustrated. Tap on the window again to the back of an employee rinsing something in a sink who walked away few minutes later I see another employee in general area through the glass and tap again then the management lady with this employee comes back to window bursting open like a jack in the box and pops her head out saying what now sir I said my tea? Window shuts .... Time ticks .... It opens and handed tea lid half off and shut goes the window , I knock again no straws no napkins and not asked if I would like ketchup or anything for my fries , window opens I said im sorry if we misunderstanding i asked if i could buy the extra 2 chweseburgers so you sidd t have to waste them she said we diddnt throw rhem out and went ti clisw window when i said what do i habe to do to get what i want around here she said what now sir and i requested straws and napkins afraid to even mention ketchup to this lady at this point I was handed 2 straws and 2napkins i accepted shaki g my head i had 3 drinks.... How miserable I said in my head as I started to drive away drinks melted and food thrown at me ,I'm gonna rate this place I mumbled . And was gonna , 21.00 for this after I pulled away, a little black girl come out the side door where the pull around to exit parking was and said sir ... Sir , your change and handed me 16.00 out of her pocket which almost made me cry with joy, that assuming the one who took the order originally would go out of her way to make right , to that employee you are McDonald's , you are the golden arch , to the rest of the experience I wouldn't let you pick up my dog's poop in the park, one star...
   Read moreThis McDonald's has the most unprofessional, nasty & rude staff I have EVER had an interaction with. I'm completely in shock of how the staff at the drive thru window speak to customers. After sitting at the speaker in the first lane, and watching 3 cars in the lane next to me order and move forward, a voice from my speaker asked if I was using a mobile code. I said, "no sir", & went ahead with my order of 2 large fries. At the end of speaking, there was no order on the screen and no one answered me. So, I waited......and waited.....when finally a different voice came on and said "Hold on!", then I immediately heard the same voice start taking the order of the car that had just pulled up, in the other lane. At that point I drive up to the window & let the girl know I needed to order, at which time the girl calls a young girl over, who walks up with an over the top attitude & says, "if you can't wait 30 seconds for someone to take your order, you can go somewhere else!!" I literally just stared in disbelief, lost for words, then asked her if she thought that was a professional thing to say to a customer, especially one that had been skipped at least 3 times trying to order. She rolled her eyes, then shrugged her shoulders, at which point I said, "are you the manager?" She replied, "no! You wanna talk to her???" I said, "yes, please." The manager came over, less hostile, and asked what I needed. I asked her if their leadership allowed their employees to talk to customers in such an unprofessional manner. All she said was "there's two people taking orders & if you want to place an order food, then you need to pull back around to the speaker." That was it for me. I told her absolutely not, and I pulled off, Stunned. I will never return to that location and the next email is going to corporate. I can handle short staffed, I can handle mistakes, I can handle busy, but I cannot & will not tolerate...
   Read moreOrdered food received my drinks with no straws while I waited for my food order . They have taken the drink station and condiments out of the dining area no self service. So I approached the counter and waited patiently to be acknowledged. Another African American patron reapproached the counter and waited with me . She didn't get her drink with her food and straw . When the African American employee with in site of us both finally turned around she only acknowledged the patron of color even though I had been waiting longer. She asked what she needed proceeded to get her drink returned with the drink and then walked away never even acknowledging that I was there . At that point I spoke out to another employee asking if I was invisible. It's disturbing that in these times that this even happens. I'm a military veteran who has served along side men and women of all colors and this is probably the first time I have actually first hand experienced what I feel was blatant racism. No other explanation as to why I was looked past and not even acknowledged by this employee. I don't t condone racism or hate to anyone. McDonalds of Greencove you need to do better . I rated this experience a 3 because the order was correct and the other employee did acknowledge me and respectfully responded to my request. But I'm floored by how this other woman of color found it ok to blatantly ignore me and acknowledge someone of color . Shame on this establishment and the lack of customer training...
