i ordered two medium pizzas and 20 wings. when I got home (mind you it was a 15 minute drive) I noticed I received 10 wings and some kind of cheesy bread. i called to let them know my order was messed up and the lady basically told me she couldn’t do anything but ring me up for 10 more wings if I wanted. first of all, their 10 boneless wings are about $13.99, their 20 piece was about $22.99. why in the world would i want to get rung up for 10 more wings ? that would mean i would pay a total of $28 for 20 boneless wings when the original price for 20 boneless wings is $23.99. when i checked my receipt, it did say i paid for 10 boneless wings, but where did the cheesy bread come from ? i went to the store to get a refund for the wings so I could order the 20 I originally wanted. the lady said there was no manager. GREAT ! i worked at a pizza shop, there was ALWAYS a manager, whether it was morning, mid or night shift manager. so she said she couldn’t give me a refund because a manager had to do it. okay. understandable, because im a manager at Dunkin’ Donuts and I know only manager are to issue refunds. So I asked what time the manager would be in tomorrow, her response was 11 am. okay ? just 11 ? you’re telling me the manager is there at ONLY 11 am? and i asked in a clearer question, in case she didn’t understand me the first time. “the manager is there from 11 to what ?” and she answered with 11 once again. i left the 10 boneless wings there, i will be returning on Saturday to get my refund since I won’t be able to make it at 11 am tomorrow, cause you know .. people work at that time. Read moreI placed an order @ 11:04 am through Slice figuring to beat the lunch rush. I received a text it would be delivered by 11:24 am to 11:39 am. Just before 11:30 am, it was marked as out for delivery & estimated delivery was 11:41 am. I called Hungry Howie's @ 11:52 am & the young lady who answered the phone had an attitude & said it should be there soon. I stated the order was to be delivered @ 11:41 am. She stated the driver had other deliveries prior to mine. No apology at all of the delay. I called back at 11:54 am when my order had still not arrived & asked to speak with the owner but was told it's a Sunday & he was not in. When order arrived 20 minutes after delivery time, I found out my order was dispatched out to another delivery service because Hungry Howies could not fulfill the obligation. Read moreFirst off, I absolutely love Hungry Howie subs! I recently moved to the area and was happy to have one in the vicinity. The first time I ordered from this restaurant, the sub was delicious! However, the last 2 times I've ordered, the subs have been burnt on the top to the point of having black spots all over and there being a very unpleasant bitter taste (I took pictures tonight but don't see a way to post them with this review). I also always ask for extra sub sauce that I rarely get (not a deal breaker). And this last order from tonight didn't have a pepperochini, which I always enjoy. I will order from this store again because I don't think it's a lost cause, but it would be great to get a sub that I can completely enjoy again so I can update this...
