Scoops on the Square — Restaurant in Greencastle

So cute! So yummy! What a wonderful little ice cream shop and great addition to downtown Greencastle. Situated right near the square, this little store is a must-try! Not only was the ice cream delectable , the young lady working was so friendly and very nice. She explained some of the choices and even offered samples! The atmosphere at Scoops is airy, modern and inviting and simply perfect for that cool afternoon treat! The inside area isn’t too large, but there’s ample seating as well as some outside. You can order by going into the store or at the convenient walk-up window! What a great idea! There are many, MANY flavors to chose from too. My favorite is peanut butter and their version was divine! They serve Perry’s ice cream and have the list right there on the wall so you can chose which yummy flavors you want to devour today… and which you are looking forward to next time you stop in. Stopped in on Sunday afternoon to check out Scoops on the Square. First of all, I really like the name. Second is not every ice cream shop has dairy free !! Scoops has dairy free.. I thank you for having that option. So if you like ne or know someone who is , Scoops has you covered. They only have one flavor at a time, but I'm good with that. Scoops is a nice little shop with a lot of different flavors to choose from . You surely can find something that will make your taste buds water . The staff on Sunday was very nice, helpful and very professional. The shop is very clean . There is not very much seating, but there are some outside as well. I wish you well with your ice cream shop, and I look forward to our next visit. I really liked the blueberry pancake ice cream. Hopefully, next time, there will be another dairy free flavor...

This is an adorable “hole in the wall” ice cream shop but the quality is what knocks it out of the park. Many of the flavors I’ve never heard of before and that’s why I love it! As summer goes on strawberry, chocolate, and cookie dough get boring. They pair ingredients so well together here. It’s like trying a cool new fun cocktail bar but for ice cream. My favorite is “ piece of cake “. I never imagined having loads of cake and icing IN my ice cream and I’m a changed woman. I’m pretty sure I’ve had a dream about it. I can’t stop thinking about it. It’s become the third member of my relationship. I tried another flavor that day that was amazing but can’t remember it after trying the cake flavor. I recommend...
