I tried calling this place after ordering online through Google... Got home after ordering a cheese deep dish pizza.. showing a cheese deep dish pizza on the menu as I ordered it. Got home (20 minute drive) opened up the pizza.. it's filled with meat and veggies. I called, very politely I may add. And was given nothing but attitude by the woman who answered the phone. I was told "Well, this is a small business and most people call before they order to ask what's in it." I was also told Chicago deep dish pizzas are really only made this way with meat and cheese... If you've ever been outside of central Pennsylvania in your small town life.. you might know most deep dish is traditionally cheese ;) and you add toppings. I called asking for a refund $18.50 on my pizza. Ended up spending $42 for a pizza I can't eat due to an actual allergy (not the made up silly ones that pickup eaters claim) and overpaid 9.50 for calamari that was really all breading and no squid. Wanted to support a small business, but now I'm out $42 because I made the horrible mistake of ordering online... Don't set up your restaurant to take online orders if your "small business" can't handle the orders. I also tried calling at 8:30 last night and was told today when I called they completely stop answering phones at 8:30pm. Pretty messed up experience. I actually was trying to be patient but she did nothing but catch an attitude with me. I'll be pushing this to google to hopefully get y'all taken off the service for your bad customer rep. Jeez. I've worked in restaurants and I can see this place failing in the...
Read moreI stopped in to get a cup of water ( I was working out in the heat servicing some of the neighborhood homes) and was greeted very kindly by a young woman behind the counter who gave me two whole cups full of fountain water.
I returned a few hours later looking to get some more water, and was “greeted” by a different, more-older lady this time. I was looking for the tip jar to leave a large tip as a token of my gratitude for the water earlier and to ask for some more.
As I was looking for the jar the older lady snapped at me from behind the counter and said, “WHAT are you looking for?!”.
I asked her for some water and she lied to me and said that the drink machine was broken, and that I was free to BUY a bottled water from the fridge if I felt thirsty.
I know that there is a country-wide “blue-law” that states it is illegal to refuse someone a glass of water as a business. I am very upset about it for some reason, and I wish the worst of luck to the prosperity of Little Vince’s Pizza.
The food looked DAMN good, though.
I might have to stop by for a calzone sometime, but trust that I will NOT be...
Read moreWe ordered a medium Chicago style pizza after asking if they make it & were told yes, what they gave us wasn't what we were expecting based off pictures of Chicago style pizza we saw on line but it was ok Main issue was I ordered a medium, charged$19.61 which was higher than expected but because I didn't see this pizza listed on the menu I didn't really know what the cost was but here's the thing. I went inside to pay & pickup, was told it would be ready@1pm & that's what time I went inside. I gave the girl@ the counter my order# and as I was giving it to her there was a guy in a booth that was telling her to make it a large so I assumed he was talking about his order. I was told to wait in my car and it would be brought out when ready. The pizza given to us was definitely a large so that is why I was charged so much. I don't appreciate having my order changed without my knowledge. It was way too much for 2 people. I won't be going...
