MKE Chicken and Gyro — Restaurant in Greenfield

Genuine review. No AI. I first started coming here when I saw they were new in my general neighborhood. The first time I was greeter behind the register by the owner (didn’t know he was the owner at the time) and he treated me with a smile and friendly conversation. I could tell his passion for getting to know people and actually be part of the Milwaukee community and food scene. This food truck simply made me feel at home. Then I tried the food. Man, I can honestly say that their food is some of the most delicious rice combos in the city. It’s what always keeps me coming back and every time I get the same warm welcome and kind from kind spirited people. Every time I come eat here it’s a 10/10. We need more businesses like these...

The long wait is over. Milwaukee finally has NYC style halal platters, and I couldn’t be more excited.

My experience at this place was nothing short of amazing. The owner was extremely kind, and he even let me have a free sample of the chicken and lamb. I ordered the mix platter, which includes their delicious chicken and lamb served on a bed of rice, with a side of salad and fries, and finally topped with their house-made white sauce and hot sauce. The burst of flavorful from the first bite was unbelievable.

I’ll definitely be a regular at this spot. The people working in the truck are just as awesome as the food. The wait time is surprisingly not too long (5-8 min?) considering they make everything fresh to order....

I don’t usually leave google reviews, but I like this place so much I felt inclined. The food here is actually amazing. It’s bursting with flavor, perfectly seasoned, and cooked to perfection- chicken is never dry. It’s spicy but not too spicy. It’s just right. They also give a really good portion size, can even feed two. The best thing to order is the mixed platter with gyro and chicken- over rice, with BOTH sauces.

It’s honestly hard to find good quality food around Milwaukee that’s not extortionately priced. It’s definitely a gem. And it’s HALAL!! My husband and I come here at least once a week now lol definitely give it a go, I promise you...
