Saw this place on Wisconsin foodie and we had to try it. Parking here isn't the easiest. We walked in and it was mildly busy, we had to wait maybe five minutes. The restaurant was filled but not loud. We were seated on the west side if the dine area away from the bar. Our table was somewhat segregated from the rest of the restaurant by the, what I would call the bottle shop, part of the restaurant. This was a little awkward but we were ok with it. Our waitress was very friendly and laid back and offered to answer any questions if we did have any. We started with the bacon infused vodka bloody mary. It was ok, I thought it lacked flavor and the pickle in it was more of a soft cucumber than a pickle. That also lacked a normal pickle flavor or brininess. My wife order the crayfish roll with the marinated beets as her side and I ordered the Chicken fried duck livers with two duck eggs and a crispy hashbrown underneath. I also ordered a side of the Roasted cauliflower salad. My wife's beets were amazing. The combination of the slightly soft but still crispy beets and smooth creamy cheese with a hint of mint had my wife and I wanting more. The crayfish lacked salt but was still tasty. My duck livers were perfectly tender and went really well with the smooth yoke and crunch of the hashbrown. Add a little hot sauce and this is a winning dish. I was expecting the cauliflower salad to be hot but was chilled and was amazing. All in all this was a great experience and we will definitely be coming back to try more...

Yesterday I visited this restaurant with two friends, excited for a nice lunch in a nice and modern setting. At first, everything was perfect—our original server was attentive and friendly, and the food was absolutely delicious. However, the experience took a turn for the worse when a different server, Cassy B, took over.
From the moment she started serving our table, we felt rushed and unwelcome. She removed our plates with an attitude that made it clear she wanted us to leave as soon as possible. The restaurant wasn’t even full, so it was unnecessary pressure. She dropped the dessert utensils on the table in a rude manner—accident or not, she didn’t bother to apologize.
She kept coming back frequently, checking if we had left our payment, making us feel uncomfortable. When I requested more coffee in a different cup to ensure it was hot and fresh, she responded with clear annoyance. The final straw was when she placed her hand on the payment tray and bluntly asked, “Are you going to pay now?”
My friends and I were looking for a pleasant outing with great food and conversation, but instead, we felt rushed and disrespected. A restaurant experience should be about more than just food—it should be about hospitality. Unfortunately, Cassy B’s attitude took away from what could have been a perfect lunch.
I hope management addresses this, as no customer should feel pushed out of a place where they are paying to...
Read moreOh my goodness! I was blown away by this place. I love the food. I love the beer. I like the little bottle shop.
Went here with my girlfriend and we both ordered different types of crepes. I really wish I remembered the names of the crepes we tried, as it would make this review much more useful, but anyway...
I couldn't believe how delicious my crepe was. The cheese had such a rich satisfying flavor and all the other ingredients in my crepe combined for a unique flavorful adventure.
I tried some of my girlfriend's crepe and wow! It tasted completely different, but also very delicious. It had pickles in it! That's really one of the things I loved about this restaurant. Each menu item seemed to offer a very different and unique flavor from the other.
The bar was great, it had some delicious seasonal beers on tap I hadn't tried before. I ordered a watermelon IPA and a strawberry... Lager? I forget which type of beer the strawberry was. They sound weird, but I'm so glad I tried them.
After our meal we browsed the small bottle shop. It's a pretty cool idea, but unfortunately, this is where a star gets knocked off. It's not even a big deal, either. I wish I could only take a half star off. Some off the beer seemed a little old. I visited in May and they were still selling pumpkin beers. But who cares! This ain't a liquor store.
Go check this place out! The food is amazing. The beer...
