Blue Rock Pizza & Tap — Restaurant in Greensboro

My family and I frequent Blue Rock quite often (1-2 times per month). Last Friday we received the worst customer service and we are now looking for a new favorite place. We arrived at 530pm and was seated quickly. 15 minutes passed and no one has taken our order. Not even drinks. Meanwhile, four other tables in the area have sat, ordered and a few had salads coming out. I went to speak to a manager who advised that our waitress was in the bathroom vomiting and that she would "send someone over". She told me that the other tables that were served had their original server. So basically, we had to wait for our waitress to feel better because no one else covers? As a fellow manager, I would have stepped in to take orders and serve...but I assume that wasn't the case. Five minutes later (now 6pm) a waitress came over and provided the worst service. With two small children who are starving at this point, it didnt make sense to leave. She said all of 5 words to us and obviously was upset she had to cover. Her voice and face were blank, as if we were at fault. When our pizza arrived, we had no silverware, plates or napkins...so we waited again. The food was delicious. The way this situation was handled was horrible. I'm hoping that the Main St. Restaurant has better service because we lost...

Smokehouse Lightening sandwich is okay, but a bit on the bland side. The sandwich is a hoagie bun lined with a decent mayonnaise-based cole slaw, then augmented with a generous helping of sliced beef featuring additional and unnecessary sweetness in the sauce. The sandwich was so sweet, it's a pity that I was left with nary a desire for dessert. It cut my meal short unfortunately. It would be nice if the meat had been genuinely smoked or grilled instead of baked so that the sandwich could go at it without the sauce or with only minimal sauce. I don't recommend this sandwich, for certain. This meal's upside was the salsa which accompanied the generous side of tortilla chips. There was an odor inside the restaurant, thank heavens for outside dining in October. The outside area was better than average because it's not...

I ordered two large pizzas togo on their website and when I went to pick up my order, was handed a large and small. When I asked about it, the four bored looking girls standing at the hostess stand looked at me completely puzzled. I showed my order and they said they must not have looked at the ticket correctly since I ordered the pizzas online, it didn't show the size on their ticket. (??) Sometimes that happens when people use the website to order and suggested I call it in next time. They asked if I 'wanted the large instead' (duh) but I didn't have time to wait for another pizza so I asked about a credit and they said they didn't do store credit. (Really?!) So... I left with $50 of mediocre pizza, not enough to feed my family and completely confused as to how a place can...
