This restaurant has mold and is not cleaned properly. Food is subpar and not seasoned well, tastes like cheap ingredients for around $10-15/person.
My wife and I have been here twice so far, the first time we went it wasn’t as bad as it is now but it was also 2-3 months ago since we had been last. From our experience today, we will not be coming back.
To start off, the soda machine is MOLDY, the drinks do not taste right, and the sweat tea is thick and tasted like sugary mop water. I should have checked the tea dispenser faucet before drinking but I was just hoping for the best. The window seat we had sat at was not cleaned properly, the tables were streaky and still had sticky spots; the windows were dusty and had dead bugs, the white flooring is black in some spots because of how dirty it is. As soon as we walked in it smelled a lot greasier than it did the last time as well.
I ordered the grilled pimento cheese blt and it was not flavorful at all. The bread and curly fries were the only good parts about it. The pimento cheese was mainly mayo with no seasoning, and the bacon tasted like cooked cardboard with a little bit of liquid smoke on it for some “bacon” flavor. I had a cup of Mr Pibb and it did not taste right, it had a slight mildew flavor.
I hope the owners take my review seriously because the drink dispensers and eating areas are a HEALTH SAFETY HAZARD. I will be contacting a...
Read moreTerrible service. The OWNER of the store was VERY rude to me and my son for no reason at all. First off, the owner was EXTREMELY high. He reeked of weed and me and my son both noticed it almost immediately (fyi there is a dispensary next door). This was our first time here and he was taking orders at the front. I walked up because we were confused as to where the trash was, and his tone was very disrespectful from the beginning. I asked him, and he replied with a sassy look and just pointed to the direction of the area of where I was supposed to put my trash and took a deep sigh without saying a word. I then proceeded to walk over and put my tray where he pointed, and then he went up to where I had put my tray and did it for me because I put it in the wrong area. He started throwing the trash into the correct bin very aggressively and kept staring me down while doing it. He then took another deep sigh and pointed to the sigh and said “food”, “trash” as if he was trying to mock me and my son. I don’t understand why he couldn’t have just used his words and told me that it was the wrong place instead of blowing it out of proportion and being disrespectful. Do not come here if you want good service and like a positive environment. Terrible I will not...
