Called to order a pizza a little before 9:00pm tonight. We are from out of town, staying in a hotel. We were told they would deliver to us. Placed our order, gave them our room number, and they said it would be around 9:30. A little after 9:30, I went outside the room to be on the lookout for our delivery person. The hotel has an atrium style design, so I had full view of the all glass elevators. Close to 10:00pm, we called because we still had no pizza. We were told the order was out and it should be any minute. A little after 10:30, still no pizza, so we called again. We were told the driver came but no one answered the door or phone. Then he mentioned a room number that is not our room number. However, that room is right beside ours and no delivery person was there. Total lie. No one came here. I saw every person on and off that elevator. I witnessed many other deliveries made from other restaurants. Phone was with us the entire time, as well. Your employees are dishonest. I'm assuming lazy, as well. Seems he/she just didn't want to make a delivery that late. If your employees are lying about attempting a delivery, they are probably involved in other shady practices. Very curious to see if I even get a response back from management on this. *Revision. Management has reached out to us and they have addressed the problem. We are very appreciative of that. Customer service was excellent. Fast Service, so they do understand their customers are on a time schedule⦠Loved how I got in and out so fastā¦The only problem I have with this establishment is they should have worn gloves while cooking , handling, preparing and touching the food. Personal cell phones while making pizza should be absolutely be a NO. I cringed as the cook was handling his phone and making orders, and all along wearing absolutely NO gloves. A great restaurant but you can improve by making sure that your employees are not using their cell phones and not laying the cell phones on the prep table where you are cooking and preparing food. Very unsanitary and disappointing because Hands DOWN #1 Top Notchā¦Other than that a Good hefty 5 stars I would have given.. Health department would have definitely failed the establishment for failure proper handwashing and non glove and hair net usage, i will be back and I will see if there has been changes made, Iām hoping this review helps others to ensure safe eating and less transfer is in effect! It got redirected to "Toast" for delivery. We received a notice that the order was delivered when in fact it never arrived. The Toast drivers phone number was not valid. We called Homeslice and spoke to Jen. We told her what was going on. She was rude and basically said to call Toast or Uber. She would not help at all and was not very apologetic. The guy that used to deliver for them with the long curly hair was so nice. Now they sub delivery out to a third party. We did not get money back and did not get lunch. The transaction is now being disputed with the bank. Such a shame because the food was one of our favorites but the lack of transparency/customer service is unacceptable.
