Going to break down this rating with some context below. My order: two-piece dark meat combo with mac 'n' cheese, plus 5 wings. Chicken was traditional, no sauce (didn't want to disguise the flavor). Chicken: 7.5/10 - Very crunchy and crispy, lives up to the name. Meat was moist and tender, and wings were fresh (so piping hot). Flavor was pretty mid, didn't get much of the "cajun" that their marketing talks up. Might have been more potent if I used dipping sauce. Side: 5/10 - Boring mac 'n' cheese, strong "cheese sauce" vibes, kinda that Golden Corral feel. Good portion size, and hot, not bad, just not exciting. Experience: 6/10 - Workers were polite and got the order right, but it was a solid 15 minute wait, and I was told to come get my own drink behind the counter. Also, no utensil provided for the mac 'n' cheese. Parking lot is small (4 spots) so hope they aren't busy when you come. There's 5 tables with bench seating tucked around the corner next to windows, pleasant place out of the weather to enjoy your food. Price: 6/10 - My order cost just under $20, and I'm going to get two lunch-level meals out of it, so about ~$10/serving. I know chicken prices are up in this economy, but felt like this was more than a Bojangles or Popeyes for comparable product/experience.

We drove from High Point to Randleman on Friday 14th to Greenboro to get this chicken, and it was unedible, when we ordered a 8 PC box $16 the lady repeated our order to the cook and ask her did she want her to give them this chicken? the cook replied yes, we got the chicken and since we had to drive to High Point; we tried it with excitement and Anticipation; the chicken was dry, hard, flavorless and taste of dried out grease, We took the chicken and went back in the store, my wife explain we drove from High Point to Randleman to Greensboro, to try Krispy Krunchy Chicken and asked if we have some fresh chicken? The Lady ask the Cook and The only options that was giving us was, fresh chicken 45 minutes, or we taking what we have because that's what they have, (The cook was rude) there wasn't an option for a refund. They knew the chicken was stale that's why she ask the cook do you want me to give them this chicken... For $16 which you could have gotten pop-eyes. Bo'jangles, Church's or KFC which will be my choice the next time, this chicken just isn't worth it, there was anything Louisiana Style about this chicken. And that's why the Chicken was dried out because where do it take 45 minute to cook chicken? Show quoted text Show quoted text

This place was a great find. I had no idea its been around for so long and it never popped up under Halal restaurants maybe because this place is inside a convenient store with gas station outside. We tried little bit of everything and from all of the items the bone in chicken was our favorite. I will be coming back for it soon. The owner was super nice and talkative. He gave us great customer service as well as the food. The side items were not so fresh so I would make sure i get those hot next time. Highly recommended if you want halal fried chicken.
