My experience here both times has been terrible. The first time I went, I had the pad woon sen. It tasted delicious at first, but I was disappointed that the waitress did not tell me that The dish was very spicy. Also, it doesn’t say that anywhere on the menu it does not say that it’s very spicy. Secondly, the other worst thing about the dish was that I found a hair in my dish in the middle of eating it. A very long hair. I did not make a fuss. I know it happens. I paid for my meal and I left. It has been a few months since And I decided to do a red redemption round, but Take out. I ordered pad Thai lobster and I am very disappointed in the picture online it shows the lobster tail in the dish. I was not expecting that when I receive my food that the lobster tail would be hollow like all the meat is out of the tail. You’ll find little bits of it mixed into the noodles, but it is completely overcooked and I was more interested and a fluffy juicy piece of lobster tail then I was to have a little bit chopped up. I feel like I got cheated. The quality of the noodles overall was lacking. The flavor was decent, but the noodles were overcooked. I just wasted $29. I’m completely disappointed and I will not return.

Thai Square is a good place if you're in the mood for Thai cuisine. We went around 6pm and the restaurant was busy but we were seated immediately. The staff is friendly and the property is clean. We ordered the Kai Soi, Ginger Salmon, Pad Krapow, and Pad Ped. The Kai Soi was by far and away the table favorite. It has both soft noodles and crunchy noodles which gives it a nice contrast. The presentation of the dish is fantastic and definitely catches your eye. I ordered the pad ped and really enjoyed it. The flavors were very good and unique. I really liked the peppercorn addition to the dish. I think I can handle spice well and ordered medium. It was perfect. The sauces on all of the dishes were delicious and flavorful. The portions are massive and enough for two people to share. They have four spice levels: mild, medium, spicy, and Thai spicy. Medium was perfect for me and what I would consider to be medium. The service was good. It would have been helpful if our waiter was a little more knowledgeable with the menu. However, he was friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed our meal at Thai Square and would return.

Good food, BUT, BUT, BUT....

I have eaten at this place so much but after tonight I will never be back (unless the owner contacts me to make right what a manager refused to do). One of my favorite dishes here is Cilantro Shrimp. This dish is typically overloaded with cilantro. Here is where my problem comes in...

I ordered 3 meals for takeout a few weeks ago, one of them being Cilantro Shrimp. I got home and there was zero cilantro in the dish. I didn't call to complain. Instead, I ate it and dealt with it, realizing that everyone can make a mistake. Tonight I ordered 2 meals and appetizers for takeout. I got home and guess what? No cilantro in Cilantro Shrimp.. again! Since it's the 2nd time in a row it has happened I decided to call to see what they could do. I didn't ask for a refund, I simply asked if they could put my name down for a credit for the Cilantro Shrimp dish for in the future. I told the manager the next time my family and I came in to eat in person I'd use it then, and maybe I could get some cilantro then, the signature ingredient in the dish. She told me because they only left out cilantro there was no way they were willing to give a credit to me. REALLY? It's the name of the dish and twice in a row they forgot it. I've spent at least $1,500 at this restaurant thus far this year, and they can't make a dish right for me just one time, when this is the 2nd time it has happened within a 3 week period? WOW! Because of this I will never be back.

To me it's not about money, it's the principle behind what happened. Such a short sighted mindset. They would have at the worse broken even on making the dish right for me, and profited on everything else ordered immediately. Now, they will never get any of my money again. I guess I'll be driving to Jamestown to do Simply Thai...

Horrible experience!! Ordered green curry w/ shrimp to dine-in and crab rice togo in advance. When the green curry dish arrived I was shocked that the consistency was watery. I alerted the waitress of the oddity in preparation. She relayed my message to the cook but didn’t advise on next steps so when she returned I asked if there was an error in preparation, given curry is a thickened sauce not soup. She offered the cook/mgr/owner to advise on next steps, however, they declined to come to my table. Shocked, I inquired if the crab rice was made since I ordered that to-go in adv? The waitress stated she saw the kitchen preparing it but advised other customers weren’t happy with the dish. I stated I’d pay for the meals and take them both to-go and attempt to improve the curry at home. When she came to extend the bill she informed me she couldn’t find the crab rice, she wasn’t sure what happened to the meal. 😐 I advised her that whatever was going on wasn’t pleasant. First the preparation of the curry was in error to authentic Thai cuisine, secondly the cook/mgr/owner declined to view/inspect the dish I was presented, now the crab rice has mysteriously vanished. Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me. I advised the waitress that the treatment I was receiving was beneath a reasonable dining experience for a 1st time customer in their “Thai” resto I told her me being dismissed was clearly an intention the restaurant cook/mgr/owner wanted to exhibit and due to that they can have a good day, I’m not paying for anything as I intended since me being courteous is lost on them. If you know authentic Thai cuisine don’t waste your time nor money with this “Thai” restaurant. I’ve had better from Trader Joe’s, Thai green curry frozen meal in comparison....

Food is always good but their service as of late has been a problem. They been messing up orders and running out of items. My family and I always come here about 8-10 times a month and the staff usually recognizes us but as of late I am not sure if they got a new staff or so. My wife and I are usually greeted by the old staff who would make jokes with us and all but lately they had hire someone new with such an attitude. I had ask another waitress just out of curiosity if the staff changed because we used to seeing the old staff but her co workers came out of nowhere rudely cut her off and start asking what the problem was and after we mentioned what we were curious about she gave a very rude answer with two thumbs up and left. We were left kind of left in surprised since this was the first time this rude nasty attitude has happened and we been going to this restaurant for four years. Never seen her before but mind you again my family and I go here often and I have recommend this restaurant to many others. If this particular lady who name I don’t know yet but once I find it will be trouble for her is still working then we will unfortunately have to go elsewhere. Gave it a 2 star because the food is still good unfortunate one person is going to ruin this restaurant.

Update 1/16/24

Was better and improved. Let’s see again
