If you’ve ever had a friend-of-a-friend-of-a-friend hype a place so much that you’re positive it’s going to be a letdown—this was the exact opposite. In fact, he undersold it.
We stopped here on the way home from the Cincinnati Open, somewhere in the middle of Greensburg, Indiana, where I expected… well, not this. The place is wild—in the best way. The menu reads like someone dared a chef to combine every comfort food on Earth, and then the chef actually nailed it. I had the “All-American Burrito” (pulled pork, mac & cheese, bacon, and some creamy magic sauce) and it was honestly one of the best things I’ve eaten in my life. I couldn’t even finish half, but I can't wait for breakfast tomorrow.
One guy in our group got nachos that looked like they were engineered in a lab for maximum happiness. Another got mac & cheese so ridiculous it could’ve had its own Netflix special. And yes—there’s free NBA Jam and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles arcade games.
The ordering system? Flawless. No line, no chaos, just tap-tap-tap on a kiosk and boom—food shows up like you’re in the future. If tech-startup restaurants in big cities tried this, it would take twice as long to order. Here, it’s perfect.
I don’t care where you’re headed—detour here. Plan your road trip around it. Tell your kids it’s Disney World if that gets them in the car. This is a must-stop national treasure hiding in...
Read moreOh my. I am writing this at Thanksgiving level of full. Portions were amazing! Creativity shows in every single dish. I split the nachos, had the Mac-nificent to myself, and tried a single rib. Every single ingredient was fresh. The nachos had two sauces and still kept their crispiness. The Mac-nificent was the perfect front man for the entire meal. Fresh ingredients, smooth Mac, and amazingly tender meat. The ribs came out with a pickle sauce and a jalapeño sauce on the side. The pickle sauce was smooth, but they should bottle the jalapeño sauce. Low spice and yet fully smooth pairing with everything that was left to try it with. At this point, I was beyond full. The meat was so tender that I didn't realize how full I was until I was completely full. And then the owner offered us a taste of his homemade ice cream. I'll just say that his menu and smoking skill made him an artist, but that ice cream takes him to a whole nother level. Hear the flavors, pick the one that sounds remotely up your alley, and loosen your belt. It is so good. Whether you are coming by for a meal with family or grabbing a coffee from next door and ice cream here, this spot in the heart of Greensburg, Indiana, will...

First the review on the food: I got food from them to cater an event and everything was made fresh just that morning. I tried the pulled pork, baked beans, coleslaw, and mac and cheese, and every one of them was EXCELLENT! I'm a sucker for pulled pork and theirs has great flavor and is perfectly cooked. I loved both the spicy and sweet BBQ sauces too. You can taste the effort they put into their work.
Next the review on the service: the owner Hans was wonderful in every way - he was gracious and helpful when assisting with my last minute order the night before, and the morning of picking up the food, several of the roads near the restaurant had been suddenly closed off due to road work. He called me ahead of time to give me clear directions to ensure that picking up the food was still easy and went out of his way to provide exceptional service.
All around great experience with them and just as great food. Everyone at the event loved it too!
I wish I had known about this place sooner since I will most definitely be going back and spreading the word about them in...
