TERRIBLE PIZZA & EVEN WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE The beer, cheese bread, and breadsticks were all fine, but the pizza was only half baked and just plan terrible/uneatable; worst pizza I ever had! The bottom crust was underbaked, doughy, and super thin (sheet of paper thick). Since the pizza was so, so undercooked the huge amount of cheese was rubbery and stringy and just so awful it's hard to describe! Could not even taste the toppings buried in half cooked cheese.
No one greeted us or even acknowledged us at all when there were only 2 other customers there and we were very near the main walk through and we should have been easy to see. The employee was somewhat friendly when I ordered but was clearly not trained correctly or has bad listening skills that she got the pizza order/ toppings wrong. I said 16" chicken pizza and additionally we want to add pepperoni and black olives. All we got was chicken and the 2 added items but not the 4 or 5 other toppings that come on the chicken pizza. Dunno how much clearer I could have been.
Asked to speak to the manager she came right over (for the first time she actually noticed us in the empty dinning room) and for the most part was pretty sincere and apologetic and I explained all the issues with the service and food we experienced. She asked about them baking a new pizza but by then we had lost our appetite, didn't want to wait for a new pizza, and the biggest reason was that I was very certain that the quality of that 2nd pizza wouldn't be much better and worth waiting for. So I said we can probably take the pizza home (5 slices left) and finish baking it at home (WHICH WE DID DO AND AFTER BEING COMPLETELY BAKED PROPERLY TASTED MUCH BETTER AND WAS ACTUALLY EATABLE) and I asked for a refund. Manager agreed to this and kindly asked us to wait a few minutes for the owner to come and do the refund; so we did.
I saw the owner (who was by far the most rudest, unwelcoming, unfriendly, indifferent, grumpy, and uncaring one out of the 3 employees) come in the back door and right away the manager went up to her to I assume to tell her about the refund. Instead of the owner acknowledging us or coming to talk to us she went right away to do the refund at the register. She came over and gave use the receiot and a very indifferent/quick sorry.
THE WORST AND MOST RIDICULOUS PART OF IT ALL WAS WHEN I STARTED TO EXPLAIN AND SHOW THE MANY ISSUES TO THE ALOOF OWNER SHE IMMEDIATELY TURNED AROUND AND WALKED AWAY. Of lettuce and 1/4lb. Of hamburger(none seasoned tasting.. Child's speggetti for 4.25 (great price for the amount), but was burnt on the outside and cheese was of a tarie substance, possibly from sitting until our food was done. Food came out in 3 separate orders Once was my appetizer- fried pickles Another was everything but my nacho supreme, my nacho supreme came out in 2 parts. Sauces with our order in tiny cups,and The bowl of everything else. Nachos where nicely placed but blanned in taste from lack of spices. Our simple request came from a calzome order witch was requested that sauces be put on the side they not only put the sauce on the calzone but did not give us our cheese sauce that we requested not on the calzone but on the side and it came with a side marinara sauce... Tables where litered and dirty not kept up with after every customer but more on a "every hr". Or a -"when I feel like bases".. My total wait time for everything was egsactly 32mins. For an order of all cook times less then 15mins. An a prep of 5mins. Cooks are unorganized and possibly not following regulations by ocea standards. This is known for the fact of how it was carried the lack of knowledge for cooking and cooking times, and the conversing that took place in the kitchen herd from our seat. Witch was in the center of the restaurant. OTHER THEN THAT.. the place is very beautiful. Hard wood decor nice kept bar, huge fountain drinks, cheap beers and their are no waitresses up ur butt.. In all I would say this is bar not a family restaurant, even the food screems bar for the fact u can get even just a slice of pizza if u request it. Great hangout spot for you and your buddies to catch a drink...

Unfortunately, it wouldn't stay that way for long. I asked for a beer menu and was told that they use the QR codes to be scanned with your phones. Which is fine as I actually prefer that over a paper menu anyway. There was not one at our table, so one of the hostesses began searching other tables to find a QR code which she could not find, as the other hostess asked a gentleman, the owner come to find out later, where some were. The owner who was talking to a small group at the ONLY other table in the restaurant said something along the lines of, "I don't know on all the tables" and went back to his conversation. This stuck me as disrespectful, to not only me as a customer, but also the staff. If someone needs help then you help them, especially when you are not that busy. My wife and I left after that. I'm all for supporting local businesses, but I refuse to spend my money at a place where the owner seems to care less to help the staff, or see to a customer's needs.
