Jack's Cabin — Restaurant in Greenville

I'm sorry to leave a low review but I have to be honest! We went there on a Sunday afternoon. Took about 45 mins or so to get the food. Not a real issue because we had a large group.

Ordered lunch. Most of my family had chicken tenders. Upon receiving them looks wise the tenders did not look very appealing. They looked burnt but I guess it was because the breading they used. They were also fairly thin. For a $12 and something meal it just wasn't worth the price. Small sides. The thing I found odd was they don't offer "macaroni" as a adult side. It's only for kids the waitress told us. Seems strange I've never heard of that before. The chicken tenders were ok not horrible but for sure lacking. Size, appearance, and taste.

My wife was not too high on the philly cheese steak either. Maybe breakfast is better? Or the cheese burgers? I might give them another shot in the future.

Just will avoid getting a side other than fries and definitely not the chicken tenders. I've been too several restaurants in several states. I thought based on the reviews it would be better! Left a little disappointed. Maybe it was just what we ordered? Waitress was nice and did...

We went in for what we thought was a cheaper, home cooked, breakfast. I had the biscuits n gravy with 2 eggs, bacon, hashbrowns, and toast. My husband had the country fried steak with sausage gravy, 2 eggs, and toast. The gravy came out of a can! The country fried steak was only a sirloin burger that wasn't even breaded! The waitress never came to ask if we needed anything. The men's bathroom is out of order. So the woman's bathroom is being used for both men and women. There is not lock on the door inside so no one walks in on each other by mistake. Only a sign handwritten on the outside of the door. This used to be a decent place to eat. Has always been reasonable as far as prices. They still are. But not for what your ordering. Seeing how you really don't get what you order. Maybe the owner needs to focus more on the food and making sure the facilities are working properly instead of "Beautifying" the inside. We won't...
