Service was absolutely horrendous, do not dine in here unless you have time to wait two hours for food that is hit or miss. There were only six other small groups of people there in the building so it didn't appear busy. We ordered two orders of mostaccioli a half club sub and a half Italian sub. The salads came out in about 10 minutes, which is fine. The subs were out in about 35 minutes, and were mediocre at best. We waited another 30 minutes for the mostaccioli, and finally got worried that they'd maybe forgotten about us. We went up and asked about it only to be assured it would be out in 10 minutes. It wasn't, so finally we just asked if we could pay for the food we already had but we ended up deciding to wait and get the food to go after the staff assured us it would be out quick. During this entire fiasco we never got asked if we needed refills or anything like that. The table next to us was asked multiple times how they were doing and if they needed anything. We've come here for years, and we've noticed that the quality of food and service has changed drastically in recent times, but this is the worst it's ever been. I want to clarify that the wait staff were not rude, but the wait times are crazy. Staff made multiple excuses about online orders having to be prepared first not sure why our sandwiches were started but not the pasta if that's true. Not sure if this is a standard set by the owners or what, but it's stupid to expect dine in orders to wait hours for food. At that point just be an online order place instead of order/dine in. Read moreWe own a business in Greenville, IL. So we know that there can be ups and downs in business. We are regulars at Joe's pizza. The food is great, if you get it. The servers used to be amazing. The last 3 times we have been there have been terrible. One time we had to leave because we never got waited on, while there were plenty of staff, they were busy chatting away with each other. The second time, my husband didn't get his lunch. This time I didn't get my lunch. I asked the server, where it was and she never answered and was scared to come back to the table and inform me of where it was. I asked her to remove it off my bill and she apologized then. I had to run to Subway next door to get lunch, since my table got their food and ate. The gentleman next to our table, had a table of 3, everyone received a meal but him. As four of us ordered our food tonight, we realized that our table was "wobbly", as is often the case in restaurants...and as is the case in other restaurants with unlevel tables, we asked our server for extra napkins, or coasters, or any cardboard to help level it up. Our drinks and food were brought, and once again, we asked for something to help level the table. Our server came back some time later with an "answer" from the owner/manager : they would not provide any assistance for leveling the table, because any cardboard, coasters, or napkins under any of the offending legs "would make the restaurant look trashy"...she offered us another table to move to with our already served food.
