I would give Bikas no stars if there was an option to, but unfortunately there is not. I stopped by tonight, ordered my usual dinner for my son and I and was charged way more than normal for the exact same meals that we order each time we visit Bikas. Tonight, my meal cost substantially more so I asked why. The young lady at the drive through window disappeared back inside for a moment only to return and tell me her manager says the prices change often. Really? So i drove back around the building stopped by the outside menu and requested an itemized copy of my meal via the drive-through speaker. Once i walked inside , i was offered a lousy explanation that the prices must have gone up since my last visit, but, unfortunately for Bikas, i can add, and quickly calculated the costs of the two meals i ordered,...using their inside menu, which displays the costs of each item. How does $7.99 and $5.99 add up to $17.42 I asked? Thats $13.98....plus tax, of course, which is no where near $17.42. Blank stares are all i got at first,...then a truely brilliant excuse was offered......"perhaps I charged you for large drinks by mistake". Perhaps?? But probably not, since the receipt they put in my bag along with my order didnt specify that I ordered large drinks. I was offered another itemized reciept for my dinner, which was not the same transaction number as my original, and wouldn't you know it......now my order included large drinks and extra french fries on the receipt. Oh by the way, the reciept i received when my card was ran also shares the transaction number of the original itemized receipt that was included with my order. So, now i am being offered a new receipt to try and explain why i was being over charged for my meal and, all the while, no manager was around to assist or to try and rectify this situation. Amazingly, no manager ever appeared to answer any questions. Are the employees running the show there? Does Bikas now make up the prices for their food at will?? When did stealing money from a customer become "normal" operating procedure??? I left the store.....unhelped, thinking tonight would be my last visit. Once i got home, my thoughts were confirmed.....my order was wrong....not just one plate, both plates were wrong. My 4yo son's meal had mustard, onions, and chili on his plain hotdog plate, and.....funny enough....the excuse i was offered to explain my over billing (remember i was charged for 2 large drinks and extra french fries).....proved to be false, as expected, because i received the normal portion of fries and slaw too! Not extra fries.....the normal plate setup including slaw and fries. Way to go Bikas! How hard is your job? Where is your manager? What did you actually bill me for? For the record, i tried to call the store once i realized my orders were wrong.....no one answered and there is not a way to leave a message. Surprise, surprise.....Bikas really doesn't care! Needless to say,.... I will not...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreNot the first time we've been disappointed by this place recently. First of all, the girl working the drive thru window acts like she hates her job and as if I was inconveniencing her by being there. I actually asked her if she was alright and if she was having a bad day, just to give her the hint that she had a shitty attitude. Now let's get to the food itself. I ordered (2) chkn finger plates, each with (6) chkn fingers, all fries, with (6) cups of ranch & (3) cups of honey mustard, as well as the (2) drinks that come with it. The wait wasn't bad, and I never complain about waiting here bc they make everything to order & I don't mind the wait. What I do kind is paying their high prices and NOT getting what I ordered. I got home only to find that both plates were short. One had 4 very small chkn tenders and the other had only 3 VERY small chkn tenders. The fries arent even done, and I wouldnt even bring up the fact that they shorted me a few cups of sauce, but they choose to charge for those on a regular basis as well, so yes, its worth mentioning. So we ended up with basically one chkn finger plate, with raw fries for over $30. I wouldn't have even posted this review, but I tried calling and their numbeer went to a voicemail box that is full, so I'm hoping this might get their attention. I REALLY miss the days when It was Kostas and George Bikas owned this restaurant. It hasn't been the same since. It's usually convenient bc it's right across the street, but I'm not sure I'm going to waste my time & money going back again, and that's a shame, because I've been going there for 30+ years.
So I get a response, I guess I should be grateful?? The thing is, Ive been dealing with the EXACT SAME problems as everything you mentioned due to this storm, and I can understand all that, but what does that have to do with charging me and not giving me what I paid for? How about I come take so.ething from the restaurant and when you ask me why I'm stealing from you, I'll say its because I'm having a bad day, get over it & be blessed. That's how you just handled...
