Shimoji Coffee - Espresso Drive Thru — Restaurant in Greenville

This location is super cute. We love coming through here during our road trips from St. Louis to Ohio to visit family. This location is smaller than the location in Vandalia, so it did not have baked goods when we visited. However, the Baristas are super nice and the coffee is incredible as always. Finding amazing espresso based coffee anywhere in rural America is a seldom event. This place breathes life into our 7 hour drive. The prices are fantastic too. We'd have to pay 2-3x as much at a specialty cafe in the city for the same quality. My only suggestion for improvement is replacing the coffee more frequently -- or maybe an option to grind with a fresh roast for an extra cost -- because occasionally we get...

We were driving back from St Louis to Michigan and needed some coffee. This place was close and we gave it a try. You will not regret the stop. Coffee/expresso was amazingly good and the price was hard to beat. We got a coffee with an extra shot and a latte with flavor added all for $7! For the price and the flavor it’s honestly hard to beat! And the small attention to details including having their label face the way you drink on both our cups shows they care about your coffee. Shimoji continues to offer a premium coffee experience without having to head to more urban areas of the state (i.e. Edwardsville, Effingham, etc.) and I welcome it. Living in a more rural community I think we've come to expect the lack of quality that comes with establishments such as this one and its refreshing to see, in more ways than one.
