I recently had the pleasure of dining at TakoSushi for lunch, and I must say, it was an experience worth savoring. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was inviting and lively, with plenty of seating available that made us feel right at home. Our waitress was attentive and on top of our needs from the moment we arrived, ensuring that our experience would be nothing short of delightful. To start off our meal, we ordered the appetizer known as the "Three Amigos" along with a side of their renowned queso. Let me tell you, the queso was nothing short of top-notch. Creamy, rich, and bursting with flavor, it set the perfect tone for the meal to come. The fried jalapeƱos were also a highlight; they were perfectly cooked, crispy on the outside, and full of spicy goodness that complemented the queso beautifully. For our main course, my wife chose a sushi roll along with some tacos, while I opted for two sushi rolls. The portions were impressively generous; in fact, I was amazed at the size of the rolls. We both ended up needing takeout boxes to bring the leftovers home, which, let me add, was no small feat since we both thoroughly enjoyed what we had. When it comes to pricing, TakoSushi offered reasonable rates that aligned with our expectations for a dining experience at such a nice establishment. Given the quality of food and the comfort we felt during our visit, we found the prices to be quite fair. As for beverages, I was particularly excited to try the Flight of Hot Sake, which provided a unique tasting experience for only ten dollars. This selection allowed me to sample four different types of sake, each with its own distinct flavor profile, and I must say, I enjoyed every single one. It was a fun and interesting addition to our meal. I look forward to our next visit!

TakoSushi Verdae offers a solid mix of sushi and Asian-inspired appetizers in a relaxed, modern space. The service was smooth and the atmosphere was clean and casual, with a nice layout and natural light. We ordered several rolls, all of which were fresh and well-prepared. The Crazy Roll (also called Kevin’s Roll) and the Unforgettable Roll stood out the most—balanced flavors, good texture, nothing overdone. The seaweed salad was fresh, and the fried wontons came out crisp with a solid dipping sauce. The dessert was light and not overly sweet, which worked well after sushi. Prices are reasonable for the quality. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area or don’t mind a short drive.

Ive been to the Downtown Greenville location before so it’s a restaurant I’m familiar with. The menu consists of a mixture of Mexican,Southwestern and obviously sushi. It’s a great spot if you’ve got a group of unwavering sushi lovers and sushi haters that can’t agree on a restaurant. We had the spicy tuna tartar as an app which was a pretty generous portion For entrees we had the firecracker shrimp that is breaded, fried and tossed in a spicy sauce. We also had the Asian stir fry which was solid as well.

First off it is very rare that I post positive reviews, but tako sushi has turned around my perspective! The food was phenomenal especially the squid salad and If it wasnt frowned upon I would've been openly moaning louder than I already was. The Hannah roll..... 🤤🤤🤤 Don't get me started Absolutely amazing!!! And the service was just as great as the food Tiffany the bartender was great and the service from Katie was above and beyond. Unlike the downtown location this place the atmosphere is outstanding and it doesn't feel like a dungeon and I don't have to walk a mile down a sketchy hallway. I will return to get my grub on!

P.S : Matt the GM is also amazing he...
