UPDATED. I know this is a family business and most of them do their job. But the youngest kid who sometimes takes orders or plays as cashier should improve his way to approach customers. Older brother is more polite and professional but the youngest not even apologized for not having said that they did not have soup or rice twice we went over there and he expected us to pay the full amount for less food. As a plus, he seemed that he cared more about their people (Big Afghani male group) that arrive after us rather than take our order first. Unfortunately that made us sad and we havenât came back because we want a place where everyone is served fairly, with good food, good service and customer service. I support small business but this small things let me down and hopefully you will improve.
Amazing food and service! All what they have in their menu is to die for. The food is tasty, fresh and the most important thing: AUTHENTIC!! The soup that comes with the plates is the favorite as well. The service from they guy on the counter is 5 stars. He is very respectful and kind. May Bless your family business!! Please, just...
Read moreI had one of the worst food experience of my life here, they served us FAMILY PLATTER for $90, the menu stated it will have chicken grill, chicken kababs and beef kababs etc. When the food arrived, the meat was so little, it was hardly enough for 1 person. The qabuli pulao was salt less and tasteless, and didn't even had any meat in there, please increase your meat quantity and buy some salt for your food before stealing people's hard earned money. Please don't go to this place, they will rip you off with their tasteless food. They don't even know what a shami kabab is, shami kabab is always round, instead they serve us only two seakh kababs which were again salt less and completely tasteless. The food was so bad that even after paying $90, we all had to leave hungry and didn't feel like eating that tasteless food. Surely we are never going back, their so called chef definitely needs to take some cooking classes to learn how to make an authentic afghani food before ripping off people's hard...
Read moreOMG!!!! The flavors at this authentic gem of a restaurant are so incredibly delicious! This is my fourth time here and consistently, each time has been the same amazing mouth-watering experience. I love that it is a one-of-a-kind family-run business. Prior to coming here, I had no idea what Afghanistan food was like. Now, I canât seem to get enough of it! Tonight, I got chicken kabobs as well as lamb kabobs. Both were out of this world! My dish came with hummusâwhile this might sound like an exaggeration, I can truthfully say that this is the best hummus I have ever eaten anywhere. Period. The portion sizes are generous and the prices are very reasonable. As you can tell, I highly recommend King of Shawarma & Kabob! I canât wait to come back and try...
