La Terraza — Restaurant in Greenwood

Today my family and I (party of 3) went to La Terrezza for dinner. I have eaten here occasionally for years, but I’d only ever picked up my food. I’ve always tipped well on my pickup orders and I have never had a problem with my food until now.

My aunt started the experience with a fly in her margarita. The serve and staff thought this was funny and laughed as attempted to explain what was happening. Additionally, the server and bartender were not transparent about the liquor in the margaritas until they were ask multiple times.

No one apologized or communicated about how they were going to rectify the initial issue of the fly being in the drink.

I ordered queso and sour cream that took most of my visit to receive. While sweet, our serve did not seem to verse in giving proper customer service or coming to the table after delivering an appetizer or meal.

When asking her about some of the things on the bill, she attempted to communicate that her manager would have to assist. She spoke clear perfect English but seemed to be timid. I was okay with the manager being brought over because I was not mad or angry with her.

I saw her speak to someone, but no one ever came over to discuss the issues I was having. I feel like I was stolen from.

The only reason they got more than one star for atmosphere was because it was relatively clean and the staff seemed to be very kind to the white patrons. I, personally will not be spending anymore of my money here. If you choose to please beware of how you may be...

Arrived at 5:31, I asked the waitress if they had Alambre on the menu. The waitress said yes. I asked if it came in variations (it usually comes with 1 meat & bacon). She said yes. I couldn’t find it on the menu. The host had helped me find it and told me how they served it, which was different from what the server said. I continued to order it. I patiently waited, eating chips and salsa, which was good until I ran out. The waitress paid more attention to her phone than everyone else. At this point it is 6:15. I asked the waitress if I can get my food to go. She said yes & she would check with the kitchen to see how much longer. At 6:28, she came over with my food prepped to go. I respect the fact that waitresses depend on their tips, and I typically am a good tipper, but you can be friendly without being inappropriate. This post is not directed at waitresses in general-- just the young white waitress with long dark hair that thinks it's acceptable to flirt with my husband while I'm in the restroom. He said she came over as soon as I walked away and was very flirtatious. So flirtatious that he felt uncomfortable because he was old enough to be her father. To make things worse, when I walked back to the table, she roled her eyes and walked away. I think this was extremely unprofessional and her actions were inappropriate. While this particular waitress is still employed here, my family and I will not be returning, nor do I recommend anyone wanting to eat at a "family-oriented"...
