Los Cabritos Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Greenwood

Went to this restaurant today with my hubby and daughter. Our order consisted of beef enchiladas, a beef chimichanga, mixed meat chimichanga and a Pina colada. I'll get straight to the issue. The food was bland and the meat was not tasty at all. My daughter sent her beef chimichanga back so the server asked if she wanted something else. Because All of our food was bland and disgusting, she decided not to waste her time or theirs so she said no. My husband and I tried to endure but the food was getting nastier as we ate it. While the server was sitting down talking to fellow coworkers, my husband asked for the check. The server then took me and my husband plate away (note: we both had plenty food left but it was not worth bagging up to take home). When we receive the check two things were notably wrong. 1) they still charged us for my daughter food even though she sent it back and 2) they tried to charge us $15.99 for a drink that was $6.99.

Soon as the server brought us our check he walked out of the restaurant. We walked up to the cashier desk to inform the cashier that my daughter food was sent back and it needed to be taken off of the tab. The cashier told us he could not take the food off. When I asked why he said because there was nothing wrong with it. I told the cashier that my daughter did not like her food. He again wanted to know what was wrong with it. I told him she did not like the taste of it. The cashier told us "that's not the right thing to say." I actually thought he was just playing around but nope he was very much serious. The cashier told us that's not his problem and that he was not going to take the food off of the tab. After going back and forth with the cashier we advise that law enforcement should be called. I also inform the cashier that I was overcharged for my drink. He glanced over at our table then adjusted the price for the drink. He then went on to say he tasted the food today and there was nothing wrong with the food they were serving. He said that he like the food so he don't understand why my daughter didn't like it. He told me and my husband that our daughter should not be ordering things she has never tried before. He also said that he would have to pay for the food if we didn't...mind you this is not the server but the cashier we're talking to. FIRST OF ALL SIR... my daughter taste buds and your taste buds are not the same. SECONDLY my daughter has had chimichangas many times over. He finally agreed to take my daughter's food off of the tab. After being rude and having poor customer service. MY LESSON FROM THIS: Texas got me spoiled. Every restaurant is not created equal. Pay attention to reviews...All of them!!!! Never have I experienced having to potentially pay for something that was sent back...

Ok so lastnight I was enjoying my night at LosCabritos when the manager Alex((NOT OWNER BUT MANAGER))approached me saying that I walked out a couple days ago on a ticket and forgot to pay🙄I looked at him and was like no u must have me confused I haven't been here in months so him being MATTER OF FACT says yeah yeah u sat at the bar a few days ago and u didn't pay u had margaritas and chimichanga so by now I'm FURIOUS I told him look clearly U have me confused!!! I don't eat chimichanga or whatever Ur saying!!! So I told him listen just gather ur facts I'll be over her enjoying my Godson party and when u get ur facts together come see me... So I'm mingling then it hit me"Go check on the facts" cause if u show me Me walking out on a ticket I'm gonna pay u but if u don't have those facts I'm not paying PERIODT‼️So he comes to me with a receipt from SUNDAY NOVEMBER 25th and I asked him 3 times back to back if he was sure this was the ticket & he assured me it was each time so the third time I told him ok well if this ticket is correct YOUR BUSINESS WILL BE CLOSING DOWN SOON FOR PLAYING WITH ME!!! Who serve margaritas in greenwood on Sundays🤔🤔🤔Please tell me... Then the receipt says 6 wings. U say I had a chimichuchu or whatever and it happened a FEW DAYS AGO but u bring a ticket back from November! See y'all used to getting over on ppl with approaching them saying they didn't pay for a ticket but no sir THIS HEAD DONT SCREW ON! U probably would have got out on anybody else but nah not ME🤣🤣😩 So I got banned because he didn't have his facts and he was embarrassed so he called the police and still NOTHING HAPPENED! OH ALL MY DUCKS WILL BE IN A ROW TOMORROW BEFORE...

Besides being overlooked to be seated, we had a great experience and great food! The food was all hot when it arrived and still warm when I got toward the end. The salsa had some spice, not overwhelming, with a hint of sweet. Loved it! The cheese sauce was yummy! The chips were light but were still sturdy for the dipping. My husband got the Vegetarian C and said it was very good. He could even pick up his hard shell item, can't at other Mexican places. I got the chicken, beef, and shrimp chimichanga. It came with refried beans and rice. All I can say is muy bueno!!! The beans were not gritty, rice was fluffy and had flavor. The chimichanga was cooked just right and all the meats were stuffed into one. I ate the whole thing and was stuffed until lunch the next day(didn't have breakfast). We think our waiter was the manager. He was very kind and was running food to tables the entire time we were there. Very impressed with a manager who cares about...
