I drive past this place two times a day taking my children to school. I was really hoping this would be my new spot for açai bowls. The bowls do taste very good. However, the service I received was probably the worst service I’ve had in a long long time. The girl at the counter, Sarah, was on her personal phone while helping a customer in front of me, clearly this customer was surprised with the bad service and it took forever to get her food. Then when it was my turn she was on the phone discussing purchases of some sort with one of her friends and ignored me for a while. Then when she was serving us she was very rude and did not get off her phone. She was dropping a lot of stuff outside of my bowl and was throwing things together in a disrespectful way. I was holding my newborn and asked if she could please make my bowl… I received a long angry stare. Anyone can have a bad day and I really hope this was her bad day and she normally is not like this. From the moment I walked in, the vibe was fresh, fun, and full of good energy. I have to shout out AJ, she was absolutely amazing! So welcoming, incredibly helpful, and clearly passionate about what she does. She helped me build the perfect bowl. Everything was super fresh, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. I’ve been craving an açaí bowl and saw this place driving to Greenville today. Tried the mango-pineapple base with the fruitful topping. The toppings were so fresh.
