Häagen-Dazs — Restaurant in Gretna

How in the hell does this place have a 4.5 unless they paid for the ŕeviews???

Visited them a while back after passing the location a dozen times swearing that " Next Time " I was going to go in...

Well, that next time, I had a chocolate craving and thought I'd treat myself to Mint Chip or something along those lines...

Let me ask you a question: Have you ever done this... plan something, and the anticipation rises until the moment comes, and it's a total letdown?

Walked in the door with eagerness, and looked into the glass case excited to see all the choices and EVERY canister that contained " Chocolate " anything was left with either the Leftover you have to scrape off the sides and deep into the bottom edges, OR what was left had that Nasty freezer burnt Glaze that most of us scrape off and toss down the sink before getting to what actually looks decent.

People, they have some of the MOST EXPENSIVE Ice Cream being sold, so shouldn't it be presented as such???

If you like it so much, I'd suggest going to the grocery store and getting it fresh instead of the leftovers this place is happy to sell you at top dollar...

If your reading this and it's your location... You only get a couple of opportunities to either keep or lose a customer, so stop being so cheap and replace your products before customers are left with the scraps..

Friday April 25th 8:30pm me and my fiance came in to get icecream. Cash only because they were having a system error. There was a sign on the door indicating it was cash only. But I watched the workers check out a lady with a credit card. I then asked, is the cards working now? and she rudely told me no- they’re only taking cash. I am so glad they finally opened a Häagen-Dazs in Gretna. The taste of the ice cream is so smooth and flavorful. I especially love the caramel and waffle cone. Nice salty caramel and bits of waffle cone in a vanilla ice cream. The staff is friendly and point out new flavors if your having a hard time deciding. My wife and I love the new ice cream flight that they have....4 small portions of any flavor you want. I also appreciate that the tables are never sticky from melted ice cream like it can be at other shops. The staff keep this place...
