I'd give this office negative stars if it was possible. An infinite number of them. This has been the single worst post office I have EVER had the misfortune to deal with. I have lived all over this country and in other countries and never have I had to deal with such incompetence for mail and package deliveries. Filing complaints is usually a huge waste of time and a headache because nothing is ever done. This office routinely "attempts delivery" which to them means they don't even leave a notice or knock on the door. They have "delivered" several packages to me that I've never seen in my life and had to deal with the company that sent it to me and request it to be sent to a different address with a different servicing post office. I normally, for the past year, have been having packages sent to another address to avoid never receiving them but unfortunately yesterday I was supposed to have a Christmas present for that person sent to me and couldn't risk them opening it and ruining the surprise. Here's something that was NOT a surprise though...the post office failed to deliver or even attempt to deliver and I also received no notice. So now I'm just praying they don't lose my package yet again and I have to scramble to get this Christmas present redelivered somehow. Thanks for ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. I'm so irritated because I was waiting for a check and I literally saw the mail man yesterday at my apt complex....... Yet, there was no sign of mail in my box. I wish that I would've just went up to him like I planned to but I didn't want to DISTRACT HIM FROM HIS JOB.... ( that he's clearly not doing). I literally am so pissed off because it states that the mail was delivered at 2:42 BUT I left at that time and he hadn't even made it out of his van which means that he scanned my mail before the package was technically even delivered. I went up there this morning and the lady had the audacity to say that " He remembers delivering your mail to the office yesterday" LOL really? He really remembered my name and my mail out of every name that he sees in one day... pathetic, liars.. you name it! They need to wipe the whole entire house out and restaff all USPS locations that are this incompetent. Read moreService provider (Ann) was extremely courteous, but was unsuccessful at resolving issue. Seems that there was a failing in the back-office process. It became obvious that the situation was outside of her control and that was unfortunate. She couldn't locate package. According to the notice it should have been available for pick up. I couldn't find it using the automated online system either. Ann mentioned that there were more than driver responsible. Seems the driver who left the notice wasn't the one on the route currently. Unfortunately she couldn't reach that driver. I really appreciate her effort. The automated QR process couldn't locate the tracking number either. The Postal Service waste hiring wonderful service desk personnel like Ann if the rest of the back-office system is broken. I can feel employee pain. Unfortunately the ones responsible for the success of the process (executive with large salaries)can't. I can certainly under why private vendors (UPS, FedEX, etc.) are able to be so competitive.
