Tonight is the second night that I have came to hooters in the past 2 months and service has been completely terrible. The first time I didn't really make a big deal about it because I didn't think it was serious enough to do anything about and got over it. But tonight we went to watch the game. We arrived before the crowd got there so the servers wouldn't be overwhelmed and our service and food would get to us in a timely manner. At first 3 different girls come up to us to ask about drinks so we don't know which one is really our server, but that's not a problem at least they are working together. I asked for a water with lemon and I guess it takes 30 minutes just for someone else who is not my server to bring lemons after we asked 3 times. Then the food comes out which my only problem was that they are suppose to be curly fries and all we had was the bottom of the pan crumbs. We asked the manager for new fries and at first he seemed as if he didn't want to get them for us because he didn't see anything wrong with them. But he says he will get some, (I think his name was Josh). Well 20 minutes later I ask him how long are our fries going to be. He started laughing and immediately I cut him off and said what's funny I don't see anything funny about this! He then said that it was funny cause he asked one of his servers to brings them to us (someone he thought was serving the table) which means he don't even know which server was for our table. As a manger, he should have brought them himself to a unhappy guest. Well another 20 minutes rolls around and I get up and ask another server to ask the manager for my fries and a chef walks out so I asked him cause you get someone to bring my fries and finally I get my fries after 40 minutes of waiting and the rest of my food gone by this point. The manager never does come back to our table and doesn't even try to take off the fries we waited 40 minutes for as a guest recovery. Therefore, poor management and poor service has made this the last time I will...
Read moreMy friends and I went to Hooters Tuesday night for a casual dinner. We ordered our food and it was out in no time. While eating, one of my friends kept looking down next to her while we was seated in our booth. Before you know it, she freaks out and we all jumped up. There was a HUGE, LIVE slug in the booth with us. We start to panic because we are eating dinner with an extra guest. A waitress come by to see what's going on and is instantly disgusted by the look on her face. She then tells our waitress that gives the same look as the waitress before. She went told her manager Tiffany. Tiffany took her time to come see about the issue, while we are still freaking out standing in the middle of the restaurant. When she FINALLY comes (with a broom and dust pan), she doesn't acknowledge that we are standing there, doesnt greet us but proceeds to start sweeping the slug off the seat, while our food is still on the table. My friend said hi to make her speak, then she spoke and walked off. Did not apologize for the slugg being there or anything. Our waitress came back with discounted receipts and my friend told her we are not paying for that food until her manager comes back to talk to us about this situation. Tiffany came back with the receipts because at this point she just want us to pay for our food that we started eating with this unwanted guest and swept particals all over. Her and my friend starts going back and forth in the middle of the restaurant because she denied all of her unprofessional actions. She then walked off with an attitude and is talking about this situation with her employees while we are still standing there. And to set this all off, she swept the slug on the floor and walked off before I told her she needed to remove it completely. This is the worst service EVER for my friends and I. We will never...
Read moreGeneral manager is the best! We got seated by a waitress, my husband went to the restroom as soon as we got seated. When he returned we still had not been served for drink orders or appetizers. The girl that seated us came by and told us that the girl behind us was our waitress and would get us. After looking over the menu for a while no one had come to take our order for anything. Several minutes later my husband spotted our supposed to be waitress standing at a table with several coworkers shooting the bull. I went and asked the girl that seated us where the Manager was. She asked what was wrong and i told her that our waitress was shooting the bull and we haven't even been asked for drink orders yet. I told my husband to come on and lets go. We got in the truck and checked the time we had been waiting and it was 15 minutes without seeing a waitress. Backing out we were stopped by the general Manager. He said if we would come back in that he would take care of it. We went back and ordered and ate. Waitress asked how it was. My husband told her that the wings were way over cooked. She asked if we wanted her to tell them to make us some more. He told her no. Evidently she told the GM and he made us another order of wings his self to take home with us. Waitresses and cooks need some help but management is top notch!! If something isn't right just get a Manager. Didn't get the general Managers name but thanks again for the correction to the problems. Thanks P.s. The wings he made himself were the way wings are...
