Jean's Super Subs — Restaurant in Grove City

This place is great! We went there for lunch while working. There was 2 very nice ladies working who greeted us also answered all questions, and even made sure of the veggies and stuff that I wanted before starting anything. The size of the subs are more than enough. I don't think I've ever had that amount of meat and cheese on a sub in my life!!! (So I have been doing it wrong my whole life) the only downside was that they don't toast the subs. They do however have a few hot subs. (For anyone scratching their head saying "huh?" They have BBQ chicken and stuff that is already hot, but I don't think they have a toaster oven for toasting) I'm pretty sure that our total for both subs and a drink was around $12-$15 So after days of just wanting a really good sub, we found a great place on Google search. Thank you for having a simple, yet "just what you want in a sub"...

If you've ever been to Jean's than you know it's always amazing and the staff is always nice. My family loves The Eagle but I also enjoy the egg salad and meatball. I'm not sure exactly how many sandwich options they have but I'd say around 30. They also have all beef hot dogs available at lunchtime and they make homemade salads to purchase. There are a rack of chips if you like something crunchy with your sandwich and they have coolers with pop, tea and juices. You can also purchase fountain pop or homemade tea. Go in hungry because these subs are packed with meat and cheese and are not on the skimpy side by no means. They typically do Lettuce, Tomato, Thick Sweet Onion slices and oil and vinegar but they also have pickles or banana peppers and you choose what goes on your specific sandwich. Jean's Super Subs is Grove City's premier sub shop. They have been in business for over 50 years... and for good reason. The food is good, fresh, and reasonably priced. The staff is friendly but fast. They hand slice each meat per order, add fresh baked bread, veggies and sauces. They also offer meatballs and hot dogs, and cold salads like macaroni salad.

The inside has not changed over the years so be prepared to step back in time a bit. There are several stand alone tables and chairs inside. This consistency in both food, staff and decor brings back cherished memories of their long standing customers. There's a reason we all keep...
