Top 5 restaurant in Groveton! Spicy Chicken Sandwich was awesome. Started off with a bad outing , but then the totally redeemed themselves. First my buddy ordered cream cheese pepper bites , but got cheddar cheese pepper bites. He kinda flipped out when he bit into one and pepper juice got on his arm. I do t get why he was upset. Read moreSo it was my very first time ever coming inside and taking a seat. And eating as well. I had to meet this family for the very first time ever. Lots of locals. Family style. It's not fast food (Mom's busy cooking back there for all of us), okay? It's a small town, rustic cowboy diner.
This is where you'll get authentic country style Texas meals like fried catfish, chicken fried steak, fried okra, chicken livers, pecan pie, sweet tea, patty melt, fried shrimp, hamburger steak & mashed potatos and corn.
One block from the courthouse and a general store-type gas station next door.
Parking's tight, but you can find a spot at the courthouse & stretch your legs a bit if you can't...
