For someone who travels for work every week, you get to see how different restaurants really are all around the states. In wornout Groveton, you donāt really have a whole lot of options to stop. I actually got confused pulling into the restaurant because itās hidden beside ANOTHER Mexican restaurant. How odd is that? Decided to eat here for a quick lunch as it had decent reviews and is one of the only restaurants in town.
The guy working FOH was nice and attentive. Salsa tasted like warm, flavorless marinara⦠how is that possible??
I ordered the street tacos and they were okay. Not great, but not bad. Meat was dry, no salsa to dip in, charro beans were good, rice just tasted like plain Mexican rice. Nothing fancy.
All in all, the place is as mid as you can expect. Salsa needs entirely new recipe, itās absolutely terrible. Parking lot looks like it got hit by a mortar round. $16 for 3 tacos + tea.
Nice people, wonder if next door...

I also ordered a small raspberry margherita, but I was a bit bummed out when I tried it because it honestly tasted like they used a snowcone flavoring to make it and not a raspberry syrup or mushed up fresh raspberries. Other than that, I recommend anyone to go check them out. Wonderful waitstaff and a family like...

I just recommend that yall use more than tomatoe sauce for things. That's all other thank that the street tacos my dad...
