I like to find positive feedback everywhere I go but at the same time, I have to be honest with my readers. I went to this “place” and ordered 2 empanadillas (empanadas) and I also ordered their famous “Lobster Soup”. The empanadas were not good. I’m sorry but they just were not. The octopus one did not taste like real octopus and the Conch one didn’t either, plus that lobster soup was missing the main ingredient 😳 I’m pretty sure there was NO lobster in that soup but instead all it had was just a hard piece of crab shell. The place was very pricey and just mediocre with their customer service standards. The server/ counter attendant was not friendly at all. Things happen at places, how this was handled wasn’t good at all. We came with friends after scuba diving to eat and have a beer. My girlfriend started eating her empanada while her drink was being made and then I ordered a beer. Right as he brought my beer, she pulled a bite from her empanada and found a fit inside. Things happen but we showed it to the employee and he stuck his finger in digging it out then handed it back to her. I took a picture before he kept the fly. A replacement empanada wasn’t offered, like I said things happen, but no apology and handing food back after a finger was in it and not offering a replacement is unacceptable. I went with my mother in law at 10:45 to buy some Alcapurria with ground beef.
