We stumbled upon this place after checking into our Airbnb and walking, hungry, around the neighborhood after dark. It was empty and I think they might have been getting ready to close but Abel welcomed us with open arms and served up one of the most DELICIOUS meals we had during our 10 days on the island. The surullitos, empanadillas, whole fried fish, pulpo (octopus) ceviche, and a dish similar to shrimp mofongo were our favorites. Beautiful presentation on even the simplest dishes. We even went back for lunch later in the week. We were also on a mission to find the best piña colada on the island and this was in our top 3 (out of 10)!
