Caños Pizza — Restaurant in Guánica

A haven in the darkness. Driving around the island, just missed Cabo Rojo lighthouse because we got there too late. Driving through small towns looking for something to eat. Kiosks closed and sky darkening around us. Drove into Guanica and met with empty streets and closed businesses. Ready to head back to the main road dejectedly when out of the darkness appears this bright, cheery, shiny business boasting tantalizing pictures of pizza, chicken and all manner of yumminess. Had option of eating in its inviting well-kept patio where we'd feast and so would the mosquitoes or the uber-Acd dining area...we went in of course. Had to throw on my windbreaker but thankful for the AC. Even bathrooms were a clean comfortable wonder. The fried chicken was so delicious, chicharron-tastiness(akin to So Cal's Shakeys) and pizza was good too and well, let me say I almost cried of joy for this respite...

I am so disappointed! I recommended this restaurant to my brother and sister-in-law, who are visiting Puerto Rico. The pizza was terrible; there was no sauce, hardly any cheese, and the crust was thin and dry. Also, order baked potatoes, dry and hard. Was invited to try this place and for my surprise was very cozy! They have a great and delicious menu. I ask for a baked potato with everything which means; chicken, bacon, cheese and broccoli.
