Amigos Carniceria — Restaurant in Guadalupe

To the Owners/Management,

I am very disappointed with the way I was treated during my recent visit. I called to advise that the gorditas I purchased were falling apart, and instead of addressing the issue with accountability, Julio (the person in charge) focused more on the fact that I had mistakenly called another store with a very similar name ("Carnicería Los Amigos" vs. "Amigos Carnicería").

I explained that I was at work and unable to bring the food back, which resulted in me throwing it away. I was not asking for a refund—I simply wanted to let you know about the issue so it could be corrected in the future. Instead, Julio treated me very poorly and made the situation about my phone call to the wrong location, rather than the actual problem with the food.

I’ve been a loyal customer many times before and truly enjoy your food, but this experience has left me not wanting to return. I expect staff members, especially those in charge, to take responsibility when something goes wrong and to treat customers with respect.

I would appreciate a call back from the owners regarding this...

My husband and I have found our new favorite taco and burrito spot in the area! Meats I recommend: Barbacoa, Asada, Pastor and Carnitas. HUGE portions and so so flavorful. Try their pupusas, one is even enough for two! They primarily only speak Spanish here fyi, but they are generous and helpful. Here you'll find many Mexican goods such as candy, drinks, health products and home essentials. They have a small fresh grocery section with limes, tomatoes, avocados, and more. There is also a Raspado spot attached to it that has amazing Agua...

The place had a very nice set up and the food seemed to smell good. Came in for a drink but the service from 3 woman was just the worst I had ever encountered for any business. We just kept getting the run around and look like they were helping but when they walked away they just did something else while we waited for them and they were not even helping anymore. It was very frustrating, this went on for about a good 20 minutes back and forth. We would have went back but after this service...
