Good things take time......but this one seemed Fishy!!!
I visited Anello today and ordered fish and chips, clam chowder, grilled prawns, and a few oysters.
Unfortunately, the experience left much to be desired. Despite the restaurant not being overcrowded, it took about 30-40min for our order to be prepared. This was surprising since many of these items are typically pre-cooked or prepared quickly.
It seemed like they were intentionally slow in their service, perhaps to make it appear busier than it was. The delay was quite frustrating and detracted from the overall experience.

The clam chowder was just cream/soup ..no clams or the other ingredients, it looks like they were running out and they just give me the soup/liquid, we were so close to returning the food but because we waited so long, my family was really hungry. Read moreI decided to try Anellos for the first time. I’ve been having chowder and crab sandwiches in Bodega Bay for years and years. I don’t expect a gourmet experience but this was absolutely horrible. The sandwich was two small pieces of bland sourdough bread with lettuce tomato a huge amount of mayonnaise and very little crab for $16 outrageous. The clam chowder I’m not kidding tasted like glue with a horrible taste to it there was also a huge Bayleaf in the chowder it was mushy overcooked terrible....
