Beware to gear up on tackle , your own party boat rod and reel, 1.5lb trolling lead ball (4 ) for salmon , bait squid, big potato sack for rock cod fishing , food ,water and dress warm. He will ask you and if you need anything listed above I believe he has it for sale .
This is a business and if the fish are there he will get them, even the smallest rock cod to him he'll tell you (((( everyone love fish taco ))))) keep fishing till the boat limits.
My trip only lasted till noon we all had to leave the water SALMON was still bitting hot. Aboard an older gentleman had a bad seasure we rushed him in. I'm not sure how he is now but I can say Rick P. made a good call and yes he keep our money but save a man.

Read moreWe called ahead to confirm the waters would be calm, and were assured they would be. We were told we would be fishing for salmon, rockfish and crabs. Oh. My. God! The waters weren’t just choppy, the swells were enormous! Instantly we were sea sick. We were told we would leave the bad area and get somewhere calmer. NOPE! It only got worse. To top it off, we ONLY fished for salmon due to the weather. With a limit of 2 per person, the most we could hope to leave with was a disappointment at best. I was as sick as a dog the whole trip, my husband could hardly function enough to fish because he had to throw up every couple minutes. You can’t blame the captain and his crewman for not caring. Of course they had to stay out as long as possible, hoping people would leave with their limits, which they didn’t. But my goodness, they could have at least offered us a napkin to wipe the barf off of our faces. But when I was too sick to fish and still paid $200 to be stuck crying and puking on a ship for 10 hours, only to hear the captain announcing (multiple times mind you) to tip the crewmen, it really really made me never want to go sea fish again. Read moreBeen on his boat a few years ago and had a blast. I'm mainly rating now to address the person who left a 1 star review. It's called fishing not catching!!! And as far as the weather goes, rick is not god and can't control the weather it changes deal with it. And always ALWAYS tip the deck hand! It's not their fault if you leave empty handed, it's not a guarantee you will catch. And if you feel so sour about your experience, I'm sure they don't want you back...
