Wendy's — Restaurant in Guilford

I ordered a baked potato with cheese and bacon. Apon walking in the restaurant was very smoky, like they burnt something. It was definitely visible. Service was pore, the cashier was nice but lacked customer service abilities. She stood there forever before asking to take my order, she kept conversation with another customer while i tried to say my order. It was very rude. Older gray haired women. Otherwise she was friendly. The potato was pretty good, and also had daves cherry soda which was good as usual. Came here on a work trip for lunch since we were walking distance from the comfort in, by the way that walk barely has any sidewalks if your staying there and reading this review. Its a walk along a busy road that has maybe three very short useless sidewalks along the way. And the other side of the road just has one that doesnt even make it halfway to the wendys either. Dare I say that I’ve be proven wrong? I think so. I came here at 11:30pm after seeing the McDonald’s across the street that was supposed to be 24hrs closed. Very reluctantly placed my order and was met by a friendly staff, accurate order, and a “thank you for coming.” Sounds like this franchise owner is figuring it out. Awesome experience

Nightmare establishment! The staff is made up of older people who need to retire and young kids who couldn’t care less! Today was the last straw after getting my order wrong for the 7th consecutive time. They have a little trick in the drive thru where they don’t give you a receipt (shame on me for not asking for it) so you have no leg to stand on if you come back. This Wendy’s has had a serious problem for about the last year or so when it comes to their chicken nuggets specifically. YOU NEED TO FRY THEM LONGER!!! Seriously. Wendy’s always used to have the crispiest, juiciest chicken nuggets of any of the fast food chains; they were by far my favorite. But whoever has been frying those chicken nuggets hasn’t been cooking them nearly enough because they’re disgusting every time I get them. They feel like rubber. I understand we’re talking about fast food here, not fine dining, but if you can’t fry your chicken nuggets correctly, as well as your fries to a certain extent, you’re going to lose many customers.
