I rated this place with these amount of stars because it deserves it . I am not from the coast which I am 3hrs away and I would LOVE for this place to be my area. I recently just found this place a couple of months ago . I was Google searching wings and soul food and this restaurant came up . I always leave out on 67 hwy leaving Ocean Springs it's a cutoff and this restaurant was way out of my way so we decided to reroute and give it a try . The first time we tried it we were SO SHOCKED . I mean the prices, the amount , and the quality of their food was well worth it . We only been twice and my wife and I love it . The 2 times we came we wanted to try something different and as we stood in line we wanted to try the turkey necks and ppl kept ordering as we were like I hope they don't run out which this guy ahead of us ordered like 8 of them 😳🤣 like four plates and they had plenty more. So we are assuming this is a regular here at this restaurant , now we know this place has good food and the service is fast ( in and out ). I would definitely recommend this restaurant as a place to go and try whenever your in Gulfport . We also tried their crawfish and some restaurant they just boil them with no flavor but this restaurant crawfish is full of flavor . For the amount of food we ordered I couldn't believe we paid the price for all of it 😯😲 Because we knew we wouldn't be back no time soon . Plus the ppl that works there are...
Read moreLoved the seafood and staff (brother and sister? husband and wife?). We stayed an extra day just to eat here again, well that and because our hotel was so nice and the weather was perfect and there were NO people on the beaches... Ordered seafood both fried and boiled, loved both. They taught us the right way to eat craw-fish and introduced us to Cajun butter. We ordered ours spicy and it came spicy! Ordered a crayfish mac n' cheese side, it was rich but good as were the crayfish pies. Po'boys were excellent, lots of fillings and great bread. I wish they had beer. Strange guy working in the back would poke his head out from time to time and leer at us...? Did not try the Chinese buffet because we wanted seafood but it looked good, especially the lo mein. Cajun and Asian fusion makes a lot of sense to me. The community is lucky to have these people...
Read moreI've always seen this place while driving by and I wish I would have kept driving. when you walk in you are I was met with a pungent fish smell but because it was classified as a seafood place I let it slide. the second thing I noticed was being confused about what kind of restaurant it was because one side is Cajun one side is Chinese and by the door is like a mini grocery store . we ordered and the Crawfish had a weird smell like they were cooked in the morning and left out all day and it t was over cooked. But the flys/nats that were flying around took my mind off the smell of the food. the best thing about this place was the soap in the bathroom it smelt like green Lifesavers gummies not only did it smell better than any of the food but I would imagine it tasted...
