We drive a semi and came to Gulfport to visit someone. Happened upon this place. We, loving sushi the way we do, we saw the reviews and decided to come in and grab so.e dinner. We were greeted by smiling faces and a welcome. The place outside has little curb appeal. Inside was clean smelled clean. As you walk in you see the area where they make the sushi. We were quickly greeted and the waitress was very patient. The menu however was a bit overwhelming.Their are alot of options. We choose the dumpling for an appetizer. Udon with shrimp and Japanese rice with shrimp. Spicy Yellow Tail Roll, Tuna Roll, Spicy Salmon roll and Philadelphia Roll. The rolls were fresh and beautifully plated. The rice was served hot and the shrimp was cooked perfectly. The Udon noodles were perfectly cooked and the shrimp was fresh. For dessert we got the Tiramisu. The portion was great for two. Sushi was giant and hard to eat. It was really unejoyable and unexpected. The roll pieces are like the size of donuts. I needed a fork and knife to eat a roll that big. I mean we got 4 different rolls, and they all had the width of my palm. Would never recommend this place. The food wasn't like how described and low quality. The fish did NOT taste right, it was very fishy, like it was about to go bad. They wouldn't give me a refund even though I ate none of my food. I took one bite and knew it tasted weird and bland. I told the waitress my food tasted weird and she basically implied it was my fault because I ordered it. Even though the food wasnt very good, since it was expensive, I ate my 1 roll and my bf ate his rolls, I just had the one roll that tasted really off, I refused to eat it, I didnt want to get sick.
