It took them 14 days to charge our debit cards! Who does that? $28.99 per person for the worst seafood buffet I've ever been to in my life. The salad bar was lackluster, and the dessert bar wasn't much of a dessert bar with their cafeteria cakes. The worst part was the seafood. Absolutely everything was fried so there was nothing I could eat except the shrimp Alfredo and grits. The grits didn't even have the texture of grits. I don't even remember the shrimp Alfredo having shrimp, but maybe imitation crab. We had a party of 8 adults and 3 children and absolutely nobody liked any of the food. We were all so disappointed especially with how expensive it is. None of us ate $30 worth of food. My dad asked to speak to the manager, but the manager couldn't even make the attempt to speak with him, so they sent someone else to do their dirty work. They need new management, a new chef and a new kitchen manager. I am so thankful I didn't have my wedding there because if the food was this disgusting at my wedding, I would have been very angry. My family and I visited this place recently on a Thursday night. We asked the hostess for a table for 7 with a highchair. We were given the "Blue plate menu" (#cheap/limited). Neither the hostess nor the waitress offered the regular menu. We were from another state and had no idea there was another menu until we were leaving and noticed other diners enjoying steaks, pasta etc. Apparently, they decided that since we were people of color we could only afford the Blue plate of mostly fried food. When I spoke to the gen mgr of the restaurant his initial response was to defend her actions! After further discussion he apologized and stated that he would "get to the bottom of it" which I seriously doubt happened. My family is comprised of highly successful professionals with a very high combined worth and could afford any/everything on the menu, if we so desired. To be treated with such disrespect was discriminatory, offensive and completely unacceptable, to say the least. We may stay at the lodge again in the future be most assuredly, we won't be patronizing the Pinecreast...

Well two strikes and you’re out for me. Been coming up here for more than 12 years and just gets worse every year. Went in to eat the catfish and they were not even serving catfish today. Lunch buffet included hamburgers, hotdogs and backed chicken, bake beans BBQ ribs and some others. I have eaten hamburgers and hotdogs from a high school lunch room that tasted better. I ask the waitress why they are not serving catfish for lunch today and she said it’s not on the menu for today. For all the years that I have been coming here they always serve catfish for the lunch buffet. After I get finished with eating my lunch then another lady asked me was I the one asking about the catfish and I said yes. Then she told me that she could go cook some. Told her that it’s a little too late now. I already finished the so call hamburger and hotdog. I will never eat at this restaurant again.
