Joe's Pizza & Arcade — Restaurant in Guttenberg

2nd time in two years for being told I can’t coming in with a swimsuit and shorts. For being a river town I feel like it’s a bit ridiculous to be told I can’t sit in a chair because I’m wearing a halter top and shorts. Won’t be coming back. Our kids and myself had not been in the water at all so not sure how the seats could’ve been wet. Went from our house to the boat to your place to eat. Thanks for the assumption. Also my husband only was defensive when we saw two other customers walk in in swimsuits no shoes and you did nothing about it to them, after claiming it was “state law” (it’s not).Had shoes for the two year old sorry about the infant that can walk not having shoes but….Seems odd to have a policy and not apply it equally! Also the owner aggressively stormed in and frightened a child! Like who handles any customers like that? If there was some issue with wet chairs in the past possibly? Why not politely ask us not to do that instead of come up with arbitrary reasons to single us out and not others. Also interesting that you have waited to seat us and take our money before...

I understand restaurants are suffering during this covid pandemic. We, (two families) came out to eat here tonight. We ate pizza and were going up for dessert. We ordered a two scoop ice cream for a 3 year old and 4 year to share. Yes, its pretty big and we wanted a bit more than the junior size they offered. We asked if we could get another cup and she wanted to nit pick about charging us double because we were going to separate it. Really? We just got done spending over $120 (for the pizzas alone) in this place and she's fussing over a few more dollars. When we buy something, it doesn't matter what we do with it. I know it's not a matter of the cups they give out, because before this happen, I asked if they had something for another one of our kids ice cream that was melting. They gave us a spoon AND cup without question. We will not be back. We would rather support business who don't need to act greedy for money. It's disrespectful and down right rude!!

This is the best place to have lunch with your family. Pizzas are awesome taste. You can have combined pizza like half cheese and half veggie in 1 pizza or half chicken and half crab (They add honey for the chicken and crab pizza if you don't like sweet taste in a pizza ask them to not add). Ice creams are really good. Staffs are really great they take your order patiently and tells all the possibilities.

Not only the restaurant is great actually you can get the pizza and sit in the park which is just in front of this shop and you can have a best view of Mississippi river. Enjoy, relax, view, pizza, lots of table and chairs, good shadow under tree. This is one of...
