Mr. Burger — Restaurant in Guymon

I normally get Mr. Burger for lunch and the service then is always top notch. One lady always remembered my name when I called in. Decided to get it for dinner tonight (February 12th, 2021) and the service was embarrassing. Called in a order at 6:08pm and was told it would be 15 minutes. I arrived at the drive-thru and paid at 6:25pm and was told to pull around to the other side. I thought that seemed odd since they normally have it done before the 15 minute mark. Could tell that the inside of the restaurant wasn’t busy at all and I only had one car in front of me and waited probably 5 minutes for them. Once I pulled up to the window I saw that there were several orders sitting up where the cooks set them once they’re done and One of the girls was working right in front of the orders. At 6:40 a girl finally brought a meal to the window and asked if I had a cheeseburger. I said no, I had a jalapeño chicken dinner and she went and grabbed one of the orders that was sitting there since 6:30, I’m sure had been sitting there much longer than that though.. I asked if it was cold since I know it’s been sitting up there a long time and she said the cooks didn’t tell her about it being done. In my opinion you shouldn’t have to be told about orders literally sitting in front of your face. She offered to make a new one but I had waited long enough. I finally left at 6:42 and got home about 2 minutes later and my curly fries were disgustingly soggy. Chicken was still alright. Oh my goodness I love a good Coke A Cola and this Mr Burger has the best Coke I have tasted in years! Most companies have watered down their soft drinks to the point they are very bitter but this was the kind that I remember from childhood days. I would drive an hour just to get that taste.

I ordered a mushroom and swiss burger to pair up with my coke and it was just as good. The mushrooms were large enough to know they were there but not overpowering. The cheese was melty and plenty of burger to make any meat eater happy. The bun was toasted and buttered and brought it all together.

I will be dreaming about this experience for a while. It was obvious that this place is well known because I was there at 2 in the afternoon and people were constantly coming through the drive thru and walking in. If you haven't yet tried Mr Burger in Guymon Ok please make a...

First time my husband and I tried this burger joint out and asked the person at the window what are some ingredients in certain menu items. Their response was “I don’t know.” When pulling up to the window to get my drink, the window worker coughed while handling my drink. The young lady did not have a mask on and I could tell she was very ill. She further instructed us to turn around the corner to the next window for our food. As she gave these instructions with a stuffy nose, she continued to cough without covering her mouth. This caused my husband and I to be very uneasy.
