Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Guymon

I visited my old home town Sonic for lunch (day crew), best food ever as usual! Tots and fries were hot and crispy, chili cheese dogs hot and bun soft. Added jalapenos, received an adequate amt. Hamburgers were hot, toppings spread out evenly on bun and everyone of them were correct as ordered. UPDATE... June of 2024 (evening crew) I ordered popcorn chicken, groovy fries and a vanilla Coke. Everything was cold, I could barely bite through a piece of chicken it was so hard. The fries were tasty and crisp, but cold....I sent them back and was given supposedly fresh fries, they were cold as well....I think the girl just put the same fries in a new paper bag and said they were fresh. I was impressed they were still crisp and tasty even while cold. I just gave up, I couldn't eat the chicken due to it being so cold it was hard and the Coke was like PURE vanilla. I just tossed it all and went...

Sonic makes a nice hamburger and their shakes are great! They have your food made quickly, and the people that work there are always polite. I recently used the app to pre order my food. I did exactly what the screen told me to do at the parking/order spot. The person on the speaker kept asking what I ordered? Then I didn't get her, or get my food. SO I pushed the intercom again. The person asked what did you order? I tried explaining and they cut me off. I finally pushed the intercom again and said just forget it. I was still charged on my debit card. I've yet to get a refund. I'm dropping them to two stars, as the last two visits ...

I love going to Sonic. They have so many specials that meals can be as expensive or inexpensive as wanted. Happy hour is always a good time of day. From opening to 10AM large drinks are on special. We like our good luck breakfast of two large doctor peppers and two bacon breakfast burritos because it costs $7.77. How fun!

The food is hot and fresh and can be added to or subtracted from. If you do have a special order give them time when ordering because they want to make it right as much as you want it right. Watch the screen to see that they are putting the order in correctly.
