Been going here for years, but today has made me change my mind about ever coming back.
Went for 2 Misty slushies and a small cup of chocolate ice cream with hot fudge. The Misty slushies were fine, but I was handed soft serve ice cream without the hot fudge... I was the passenger so I didn't see it right away. We handed it back and got the fudge, but then I saw it was soft serve when I took the bag to hold. Was told on a second come around that "we don't serve hard ice cream anymore" when we asked about it, and finally we turned around again because I was so aggravated that I went inside to get a refund for just the ice cream. Found that they did, in fact, have hard chocolate ice cream instead of just soft serve, and the girl at the counter fed me some sad excuse that she didn't know if it was peanut butter swirl or regular chocolate so for allergy concerns I was given soft serve. No one even asked initially if we wanted hard ice cream or soft serve, either.
I asked for a full refund because I was just so disgusted that the girl taking the order lied about having hard ice cream so she could do the bare minimum work and go back to sitting around doing nothing, I guess. It wasn't even busy. It took 5 minutes of standing around in the lobby to get my refund, and either the manager or the owner had to tell the cashier to give it to me, and gave me the ice cream I wanted for free.
I have worked at a cold stone before. I get it. The job kinda sucks sometimes. But also, do the damn job expected of you. I'm never going to give them another dollar at this point and I highly recommend to anyone reading this to just go elsewhere. Read moreLiterally worst experience ive had ordering fast food. My girlfriend ordered food from home while I was driving to hopefully save time. She sends me the order number and receipt to show the cashier because the app is showing her location as not being in the store. I get to the store and they have 1 person doing register/drive thru/ and cooking . He completely doesn’t pay me any mind as he goes from ringing up a customer to making their food. In that process he takes a drive thru order. Also in the mist of this he didn’t put on a glove even once especially when putting the other customers bread in the toaster and removing it. So maybe after 10-15 min of standing there looking like a fool. I show him my order number and he is just lost and confused saying he has no order. I’m asking him can he double check and most likely because he doesn’t want to do anything as an overworked employee he just didn’t care to figure it out. The app doesn’t allow me to cancel my order so now I lose my money and I got to drive back to Washington with nothing . I need the manager to contact me asap for my refund because this...
Read moreFirst time there tonight after wanting to stop by for months. Two girls working. Well, 2 girls on shift, one girl working, technically. The girl with the head set on for the drive thru was the only one working when I walked in as the other one was yacking away with what sounded like a personal call on the business phone line! When the girl finished the customer ahead of me, took my order and asked the person at the drive thru window to please give her a moment she finally asked the other girl to help with my order so she can finish the drive thru orders. Not only does this girl NOT get off the phone but makes my sundaes sloppy and puts them into a paper bag that not only tore (she didn't notice) but fell over. Oh and did I mention she served me cold pretzel sticks!! LMAO. The other poor girl who actually had a work ethic and was earning her paycheck I felt so bad for bc after me was another 6 kids. I told her, you should get all these tips. Unreal. I wanted to say something to this kid so bad but I was in a rush. I hope the owner reads this...
