Mansfield Village Square — Local services in Mansfield Township

Very nice shopping center here. The selection of tenants here is good and unique. There's a Weis Market, which, believe it or not, can make a pizza for you while you shop there. There's a Home Depot at the opposite end of the strip which carries your standard assortment of tools, lights, fertilzer, and lumber. There's a Gold's Gym, a Staples (which has a very nice assortment of products), and an H&R Block. There used to be a Pearle Vision, but they're gone for some reason. There are two outparcels: an additional building which houses a Panera Bread, Sleepy's, and a nail/hair salon. The other is a PNCBank which replaced a former greenhouse/nursery for nearby Donaldsons Farms. Mansfield Village Square is a nice plaza with some unusual tenants. The stores are helped by being in the front of housing/condo development. So you can get some lightbulbs at the HD, get some produce and soda at Weis, then get your taxes done at H&R. Now celebrating their 80th year, Johnny’s Hot Dog roadside spot is a local legend, Serving a small menu of favorites and surprising items, hot dogs with toppings of mustard ketchup chopped onions pickles or relish, French fries, birch beer and - fresh cold Buttermilk! Window service with seating inside and outside. Excellent service- I asked to try the buttermilk and was given a sample, no charge, do I could try it for the first time - very thick, tart and super creamy. Hot dogs and toppings were good. ShopRite is a great place to shop - usually. My only complaint is about the customers who ignore the 20 items or less sign at the Express lane and proceed to put anywhere from 35 to 70 items on the conveyor belt.
