Wawa — Restaurant in Hackettstown

Everything has been great about this Wawa, but the only reason why I’m giving it 3 stars is because of the customer service. I have the Wawa app, so they can scan my rewards. Unfortunately, I couldn’t open it on my phone while I was in line because my hands were full. So when I got to the register and put my stuff down, I immediately opened my app to get to my rewards. The guy behind the register said rudely, “I have a long line!” When he said that I had just got to my rewards, so he could scan it. I told him that next time not to rush people, and he scoffed at me and said, “have a nice day,” sarcastically. I’ve been in customer service for 6 years, and I have never said that or have been rude to a customer even if we had a long line. You need to be patient with customers and make sure they are satisfied and feel comfortable no matter how ridiculous it is. I understand people have bad days, but if that is the case, don’t bring your personal life into work. I’m not the type of person to complain about this stuff, but his attitude made me feel so uncomfortable and unwelcomed to this Wawa. If I didn’t have this experience, I would have given this...

A great place to get a cup of coffee ☕️. Did your kid(s) forget his/her lunch on the kitchen counter, stop here and pick up a replacement, and off to school/work you all go. The variety of foodstuffs is substantial. The same rings true for the drinks. If you crave something sweet but you don't want a large portion this is the first stop you should make on your way home. The employees are always professional and they generally greet you with a friendly smile and a positive attitude. I've never had a bad experience with this chain of stores. I usually stop here to pick up my lunch on my way to Hackettstown Hospital for my Rheumatoid Arthritis infusions. I love your egg salad on a flatbread. Then I pick out a drink, for the most part, I get a soda for myself and I also decide what type of sweet do I want. Lately, I'm gravitating towards fresh fruits. I'd rather the fruit over the salty options especially when it's humid. I'm sure you've heard enough of me so I'll just say one more thing, go to Wawa for gasoline for your car and a light lunch...

I had a wonderful and unexpected experience. I came from the Gold's Gym and I wanted to grab a few snack and hot dogs for my children and husband who were waiting for me to return. On the way over to the line, I was carrying too many things in my arms at once and a hot dog fell to the ground. I admit, I was disappointed that I could have prevented it, but no matter, I was going to pay for an empty container. Andrew and Danielle saw what happened and excused me for the charge. They said accidents happen and that it was all right. I felt so appreciated and valued as a customer. I come to this Wawa 5 times a week and the level of care and service is amazing. Highly...
