La Morelense Plus — Restaurant in Haddon Township

This place puts Rita’s water ice to shame. I tried them first time last night let’s just say me and my family got it again today. Me my fiancé and kids love love love this place now. I will never got back to Rita’s again I found a hidden gem with this place their water ice is outstanding it’s fresh I can tell it’s homemade I’ve never tasted something so incredible that made the heavens gates open up with just one bite. I heard the angels sing and rays of sunshine cast over my head as I was eating this. My fiancé and me got the elote off the cob and it was bomb I have tired the gelati twice one was mango the next day was cantaloupe and both did NOT disappoint my kids loved it so much as well. I’m actually eating the gelati right now writing this. I will be wanting to go here next month for my birthday and my daughters too itll be an amazing treat my kids me and my family will be so bummed when they close for the season thank you for creating this amazing delicious slice of heaven...

Driving past daily, I finally stopped to get my favorite ice cream shoppe item, a large hard ice cream all chocolate milkshake. At $9.00 (8.95) I was hesitant at the cost, but went ahead. Receiving a much smaller then the normal large shake, there was still chocolate syrup coating the clear cup. Once I started to sip it, the thin consistency easily flowed through the straw, and absolutely no chunks of unmixed hard ice cream were detected. Flavor-wise, I could not tell who's brand ice cream it was, as the chocolate was not on the richer side, but more mild. Needless to say, for the size (16oz, as opposed to the usual 20oz for a large) and high price, it was my last time. I would even add, a Wawa shake at $3 less tastes better and they do not charge a dollar more for some whipped cream, as this place...

So good. I've never tried Mexican ice cream before, and I'm a bit late to the party with sending out a note about the ice cream at La Morelense Plus. If you have never tried the flavors they offer, try these two: elote, which is sweet corn- flavored and cream cheese. Both were surprisingly delicious, and nothing like any flavors I've had before. I'm not going to say anything else because I don't want to spoil the surprise. There's so much more there to try that you will need to make several visits. I hope you go.

If there's one negative, its the parking but do what you can to go-walk or borrow a scooter...
