Food not fit your Mama!!! What a big disappointment. We passed on the typical American cuisine and went with the Mother's Day Special. Ham, corn, carrots, real potatoes and gravy, and fresh rolls with butter. Upon entering, there was vape smoke everywhere. It stunk and was most unappetizing. Horrible way to start off a meal with smoke in your sinus cavities. The waitress was very loud. She talked more with the kitchen help than she did with us. The carrots were fresh from the can. The corn was frozen and overcooked in the microwave. The potatoes were straight from the box and cold, but not ice cold. They weren't fresh made, no way in hell. Brown gravy was okay, but it's not hard to take the fat from the ham and create a gravy from that. I'd guess real gravy wouldn't compliment the rest of the meal. The gravy was most likely powered, probably Schillings packet, just add water and thicken. Can't screw that up! The rolls!!! Dried out and tough. Someone please teach the cook how to correctly warm things up in a microwave. Take time to craft your meal. Plan for 20-30 people to order your special of the day. Focus on quality and those sentimental things that go into preparing food. Use a recipe as a old as great grandma, who, coincidentally, came over on the Oregon Trail. Insure every meal you serve is crafted with love. I didn't feel any love. It felt a bad one night stand and I was trying to sneak out without the...
Read moreI honestly don't know what was worse, the service or the food. We had a great experience here a couple of weeks ago but today we went and OMG everyone that works there must have been in a funk and we got the worst of it.
The waitress was in such a bad mood. The minute we walked in, you could tell she wasn't having it. If the waitress is reading this, you must understand that customer service is your number 1 job. You can't get mad and start screaming at the world because someone leaves you a tip that you feel you deserve more for. I'm sure you also get big tips as well. We weren't the ones who left the bad tip but she was screaming so loud, you could tell that was what happened. She was slamming chairs and just yelling out loud how she quits. Maybe you should.
Our chicken was so burnt. I couldn't eat it. As you can see in the picture. It was not edible and my wife's onion rings had 2 hairs in them. Grey in color so they weren't ours.
We spent $50 in there and McDonald's would have been better. We won't be back.
Unfortunately, we got our food to go so we didn't see any of our food until we got home. I will check my food in the future but it took almost an hour so we wanted to leave as fast...
Read moreWe tried stopping in for lunch today for the finger steaks. We arrived at 11:05 on our way home from Twin. We sat in the parking lot for a bit to check the hours to make sure they were open, hours on their website and google both showed they open at 11am. While in the parking lot, a truck came screaming into the parking space beside us, a lady got out and ran inside the bar. We tried going into the restaurant side but it was locked so we entered into the bar where the lady from the parking lot was entering something into the POS system. This lady must have been the server. A couple of guys were up at the bar already. We asked if the restaurant was open and the lady turned to look at us as if we were a total inconvenience to her and said "Nope, not yet". She didn't say another word, just stood there and stared at us. She was incredibly rude. The gentleman at the bar directed us across the street for brunch. We were bummed, we took the long way home just to go have lunch there. Not sure we will be back with that kind of service. In this day and age, bad employees will kill...
