My husband had the oxtails, rice and peas, cabbage, and cornbread. He loved it all (and so did my 1 yr old daughter 🤣). He mentioned that they gave a good amount of oxtails. Other places don't which is why we stop going because we pay so much money and get 4 maybe 5 pieces of oxtails if we are lucky. My son had the tenders and fries and he is so picky it's hard to take him anywhere but he enjoyed it especially the fries. I had the rasta pasta with jerk sauce & chicken. Y'all the food was so good I didn't even stop taking pictures. Order curry goat with rice and peas and plantain. This was actually the first time I really enjoyed Jamaican cuisine. I have never tasted goat that was so tender and flavorful. The rice was cooked to perfection. And the whole meal was very filling. I'm definitely going to be ordering from here more. The shrimp Patty was the only thing somewhat lacking. The flavor was great, but the Patty was kind of flat like there was space between the meat and the top of the pastry like it was lacking filling. Ordered Rasta pasta and received watery pasta or soup pasta. Furthest thing from Rasta pasta. It’s as if they only cooked it in bell peppers and chicken broth. No heavy cream or cheese added to give it a thickness to it . For the price we paid , we didn’t expect this at all !! I took some pasta out to show the water. Extremely spicy for no reason. No flavor other than green red peppers and Cajun seasoning on the pasta . So disappointing!! Will have to stick with the hall on the yard in orlando to get authentic Rasta pasta and decent size...
