Lucy’s Homemade Ice Cream — Restaurant in Haines City

Sadly , I was Not able to try the ice cream due to poor customer service I refuse to spend my money where I’m not treated well the ice cream looks great and they have a nice variety of flavors however, when Visited the shop I stood at the window for about three or four minutes. I saw the employees inside. They saw me. They never acknowledged me at all. When I looked up. I saw there was another window so I went to the other side. She gave the customer their ice cream, when they were done i stepped up to order she immediately shut the window , then she eventually came back and said I need to go back to the other side if I want to order.I told her I was on that side no one ever came. She said yeah and kind of laughed awkwardly, so I told her no thank you and have a good night. I will not be going back. Nor will I be recommending this shop.I love supporting local businesses but this type of customer service is...

My out-of-state granddaughter ordered me a big cup of homemade butter pecan ice cream for Mother's Day. It was just delivered in the middle of a big storm of heavy rainfall on Mother's Day afternoon. The ice cream is SO good, full of plenty of fresh pecans. I had to make myself stop eating halfway so I could save some to eat later. There's also some kind of ice cream on a stick. Looks like vanilla ice cream with slices of strawberries inside. Can't wait to try that. I'll try to pace myself and eat it later. Now I'm going to have to take a trip from Winter Haven to Haines City to visit Lucy's Homemade Ice Cream! We stopped here on our way home from Legoland a few weeks ago and we were pleasantly surprised at how amazing the ice cream was! Lucy's has unique ice cream flavors that we've never seen anywhere else. We each tried a different flavor, and then went back for a few more scoops to try more! We are not local but we enjoyed it so much, we made the trip down for another visit before leaving Orlando because we couldn't get it out of our heads. I recommend trying some of the more unique flavors like Corn, Horchata, and Pine Nut!
